Hmm the real big deal about lk tatsu is the late startup which requires fast reactions.
Low kongoshin is one thing which can happen but this is only a matter of execution training. It isnt that hard to get pulled off, its more difficult to get your opponent by your lk-tatsu, before he countered it by his jump in normal.
Very easy to get low kongoshin when trying to input LK tatsu, that's why it's tough to use and most Goukens don't try. LK tatsu is actually a pretty good anti-air though. Great play from akagi.
@brokenwings0207 don't compare it with srk or tiger uppercut, his regular tatsumaki has little to none invul frames and it isn't guaranteed ultra everytime, you have to position it well or ultra will whiff
I never did. I don't use Gouken, so I wouldn't know of his stats, but that's why it makes me respect this guy more. He's the first one I've seen use it like that.
That's interesting. I guess if you have meter to burn, you can cancel it when blocked into a grab to fake people out. I learn something new everyday. lol
@diecieuro wow dude u need some anger therapy or something. U get bent outta shape so easily. Relax, bend over and enjoy it.

I did not know you can cancel Gouken's tatsumaki. He's the only shoto capable of that, apparently, and it looked beautiful leading into ultra.
