This game is excellent in my opinion. Believe or not I actually had fun with Afrika. Took me almost 38 hours to finish all the missions and find all animals. This game is very hard to explain, but is not as boring as it looks or sounds, in the beginning you can't drive, but later on you get the jeep for yourself and go wherever you want and not to mention there's variety of locations. I got this game on Nov/09 and it was $50 well spent.

If you enjoy single-player games, I highly recommended.

actually later on in the game you can drive the jeep its pretty cool once you start driving the jeep it makes it more of an open world game because you choose where you want to go and not the driver

Better would be an in-game function that would copy select photos to a game-related folder in the PS3's Media section; photos stored there could be further exported to say, a Flash drive plugged into the PS3's USB port. Sadly, I was informed by Natsume's Customer Service that photos can only be enjoyed within the game environment. After running around all that time, I'd have liked to have taken more away from the experience than a kick to my Prideland from a spooked zebra ;)

A nice walkthrough. So far the release date for the States is sometime in August, roughly.

I've owned the game for some 6 months, and can vouch that the game is stunning, and you get much more access to the features as you go. Better cameras, tents, vehicle colors, and stuff you are given for free to get certain shots... microphones, trap cams, RC cams, lights for going on night shoots. There's 20 Big Game Trophy shoots you go through that are the real meat of the game.
