  • cool

  • his buddy is sittin next to the tracks with him

    "Hey! Don't ya want some?"

"Yeah, the next train will be here in about 3 minutes, I'll wait, then there will be more food."

  • Thats not a good place to eat fast food tho ;)

  • fake

  • You didn't film the part where the train came and also killed the wolf and then the vulture flew in to eat both. :-D

  • at least the coyote knows to move. unlike its food

  • @AthensWarier21 Unlike humans.

  • HEY! That looks like my dog! ;)

  • That looks more like a wolf.

  • I remember how i feel when i am very very hungry and it makes me sad to think this coyote feel the same

  • well, at least the coyote got some food in him

  • i wonder what the crew of the train thought of this...

  • "goddamned train's gonna eat MY moose!"

  • that coyote is like "what the fuck? why's this always hap'nin to me?"

this had me laughing for a while. poor creature. probably smart enough to come back after the train passed.

  • at least this animal is smart enough to get out of the way...

  • hmm it actually looks like its cooked n ready to serve fr this point of view

  • moose put up a good fight.

  • Awesome quality footage, proper dodgy camerawork, do you have parkinsons? lol

  • coyote couldn't believe his luck..

  • Moose got hit by a train?

  • Get a stiffy; in HD

  • thanks to trains the coyote gets a free meal :P

  • at least he looked both ways before crossing like ur supposed to

  • Too bad a lot of humans can't seem to follow that simple rule if you look at the high amount of train-car crashes...

  • lol he looked like he didnt wanna leave the meal thou lol

  • wow what an idea for an animal to scavage the creatures hit by trains lol pretty bright

  • That's weird that it caught it right on the railroad tracks

  • nice cam, very clear

  • at :50 after the train horn, it looks around like "what the crap?"

  • At least it does not go to waste.

  • lol wicked response video! iguess nothing goes to waste in the end lol

  • I've never seen a video like this before on youtube... I think this vid is like a work of art

  • alright, explain yourself

  • YES because we all know Moose>Coyote>train

  • more like coyote>train>moose

  • awesome video!! Whereabouts is this?

  • where does it pop?

  • moose taste like buffalo chicken wings

  • Eat moose! 12,000 wolves (plus a few coyotes) can't be wrong.

  • Very nice quality HD. reminds me of national geographic. Cool to see how the coyote acts around the carcass too

  • Awesome quality video. What model camera did you use?

  • Thanks for the compliment! I've had a Sanyo Xacti HD1000 for a couple years now, a very user friendly camera.

    Take care!

  • DUDE NICE QUALITY AND LOL

  • wolf to train: DAMMIT YOU INTERRUPTED MY DINNER!

Considering there's 2 main tracks i imagine he got interrupted a few more times :P

I wasn't expecting the train to show up. I figured it was just a vid of the wolf.

  • That's weird....

  • hahahahha I love this commentary.

  • THX

  • lmaoooooo

  • @Richthegamer99 I appreciate the commentary but you wasted so much time with it!

  • @Richthegamer99 "mmmhh... maybe just birds" lol !!!

  • lol I love the character in the comments posted for this random video. Kudos for doin the research, but he could have been a lil more kinder instead of callin u an idiot. Next one just put member of the k-9 family, but like daayay says...theres gonna be some troll who doesnt like it

  • haha I know! It was totally not called for to call me an idiot! I'm actually surprised that noone has said "did it die?" yet.....

  • not too be rude but i think its a wolf

    sweet video

  • Haha no worries, I actually changed the title of this video a couple weeks ago. The video was originally called "Wolf Eating Dead Moose". BUT then one very "ambitious" viewer commented that I'm an idiot and its clearly a coyote. So I did some wikipedia research, and I clearly was an idiot because it is indeed a coyote. The differences between wolves and coyotes are fairly subtle, but if you compare pictures with the one in the video its easy to see. But thanks anyway! Have a great day! :)

  • aw the lovely tone of notch 8

  • om nom nom nom nom.....

  • Might as well make the best of a bad situation.

  • wtf is a cow moose? is it a female moose or a bull?

  • the common name for a female moose.

  • see the wolf was smart enough to get out of the way

  • lol...perfect video response to train vs moose lol

  • fake

  • yup you caught me. I got one of my buddy's to dress up in a wolf costume, then another one to get into the dead moose costume, and my fat friends to get in the train costume (that particular costume was very hard to come by)

  • yeah wawawa44 i was the train.

  • i was the wolf lol

  • Lol, I feel you. Ther's at least one idiot maybe 10 on each video that says "Fake". It seems these people are just Youtube trolls. Nothing better to do. Your response is similar to what I've used before. Haha!

  • lol what if the Coyote got hit that would be funny

  • handforpleasure,,,, your gay

  • i would run too, if i herd a 15 hundred ton freight train with a loud ass motor slowly hurdling my way LmAo0!

  • i wish the wolf got killed >L

  • hehe the youtube-spirits inside of me wish that happened too

  • lawl

  • now that's what i call fast food

  • holy shit... lol this hd is better than a tv :D

  • Nothing like being interrupted in the middle of dinner.

  • Am I right in assuming Thunder Bay is in Canada? If you're not too far away, western Washington has the only temperate rain forest in the world. I've never visited that territory, but it's one of the few cool things about this part of the state.

How large of a prey animal would a single wolf be able to kill? I'm just wondering why it's only in winter that they hunt more often in a pack.

  • the temprate rainforest runs north into British Columbia..and south in to northern oregon i believe

  • at least the wolf heard/saw the train and ran away. lol

  • i think i just threw up my moose yoghurt

  • Smart wolf dumb moose.

  • i agree

  • wolves are cool. any animal which can survive on its own i respect more, lik jaguars, or cheetahs.

  • cant beat a free meal

  • great footage

  • to bad the (small alive animal) didnt get hit cause that would have been as funny as hell

Its sitting there eating it and then all the sudden it just goes flying =)

  • hahahaha

  • hey there's that moose again....... now how'd he do that?

  • scab lol

  • cool but have u ever heard of ZOOM!!!

    suckamsears<<<<<SICK!!!!!

  • I should have left on the end of this video, this was literally as far as I could zoom before going into the stupid digital zoom where quality turns into poooooop. I was a good mile away from this, hungry wolves scare me :P

  • Wolves and other wild canids tend to avoid humans whenever they can. Maybe we smell bad... :) Even if they didn't, I doubt you'd ever be attacked if there was only one wolf, since they hunt the big game as a pack.

  • where are you from AstralDragon?

  • The U.S.A., Washington state. Unfortunately, the best way to see wild wolves around here is probably to drive to Yellowstone National Park, although there's a captive breeding reserve near here.

  • Where at in Washington? You can tell for me with my name... Take care. Yes yellowstone is best chance to see them though.

  • Way over on the west side of the state, but not quite over the Olympics.

  • That must be a really cool job being an engineer. Seeing all that wildlife.

  • @kacpt Yeah but it really sucks when they get in front of the train...

  • *MUNCH *MUNCH* chef, this not medium-rare!

  • Hah that fox (or whatever it is) is like FREE MEAL!
