@sp4armyguy1 I'm glad we had to memorize High Flight by John Magee for our 8th grade poetry unit... I am prepared for when i (hopefully) get into the air force academy.
So proud to be an Air Force brat. So happy to live in this wonderful land - with all our problems, it's STILL the best place to be! May God continue to bless those who serve, and their loved ones - you are very much appreciated. I remember as a young boy that I was up late one night
and WNEW-TV in NYC used the poem to sign off. I was very impressed then and now as a vet and grown
man I'm very moved by this.
