  • looks like he is going to be disbarred and hope he gets to enjoy the Kansas penal system for violating the law. he is supposed to uphold the law not make up his own.

  • @Mutedvox Federal law mandates that if a minor has been raped the doctor must report it to the justice department. Tiller's legal counsel Dan Monnat said that he received a disc that proved that there were abortions that were performed at Tiller's office where he did not report cases of rape to like he was supposed to. When Kline found out he prosecuted Tiller for it and now he is suffering from bigots like you for simply doing his job that we Kansans elected him to do.

  • @billyslo87 I stand by my statement! the real bigot here is kline.! His job is to uphold the law not his opinion!

  • @Mutedvox Awesome proof you offered here.

  • @billyslo87 and you did?

  • @billyslo87 after I re-read this another thought came to me. you wrote: "now he is suffering from bigots like you for simply doing his job that we Kansans elected him to do". so you are admitting that you don't mind that he subverted the law and used gestapo tactics to try to get the names of women who had procedures by Dr. Tiller. that you don't understand or appreciate that he overstepped his authority is very troubling.

  • @billyslo87 it was in all the papers. proof enough? or don't you read. as for the "attacked him personally", he's the only person mentioned on this "crusade". he professionally crossed the boundary. I think that qualifies for the criticism. I'm always amazed at people who insinuate themselves into other people's conditions and are the most judgmental, but feel that those rules never applies to them. how conservative....

  • @Mutedvox Ah yes. And Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin are responsible for the Tucson shootings. Is that the press you are talking about?

He did not cross any boundary. Anyone that knows any court testimony procedures knows that you have to cite your witness. Kline did not do that publicly. He let the judge and jury know who the witnesses were and in the writings he blacked out the individuals name. So unlike your earlier claims, he did respect the privacy of the individuals involved.

  • @billyslo87 kline was GIVEN the information with the names redacted. he WANTED the names. Planned Parenthood had the names removed to protect the women who had gone for procedures which are privileged between patient and doctor.

  • @Mutedvox Hmmmmm. Did that press argument not work so well for you? You apparently do not know the case at all. Tiller had nothing to do with PP. The clinic was his own. And by the way what do you think the duty of the DA is? It couldn't be to investigate and prosecute could it?

  • @billyslo87 it is very obvious that you don't read. if I were to suggest that you search for phil kline and PP and Tiller, would you? you just might find some interesting information. kline was investigating Tiller AND PP! he was trying to circumvent the law by getting names of patients from the register at the La Quinta where they were staying waiting for their appointments. how is your "not checking your info" working out for you? the internet is full of information. use it.

  • @Mutedvox Wow you are really nitpicking my comments. You didn't even answer my question asking you what you think the duty of a DA is. Maybe because his duty is to prosecute everybody that they believe is not following the law. Such as giving a pimp legal advice on what to do about his pre-teen girls that get pregnant. If an organization does that then they should be prosecuted. Same way with Tiller. If he does not let the law know of a case of rape, then he should be prosecuted.

  • @billyslo87 talk about avoiding the argument. he doesn't get to CIRCUMVENT THE LAW in doing his investigating. he did and that is what he is being investigated for. that is the discussion. PERIOD

  • @billyslo87 kline is a zealot and a pro-lifer letting his personal beliefs rule how he mis-applies the law and abuses the powers of his office. end of story. now he will face the consequences.

  • @Mutedvox Are you planning on offering any proof of your accusations or are you just going to keep repeating yourself. You have not proved that he was doing anything illegal simply because he was not. You haven't even been able to tell me what the DA's job is after I have asked and then reiterated to you asking you if you knew what the DA's job is. Apparently, you do not know what their job is.

  • @billyslo87 and I presume you plan to keep looping your stellar defense of an out of control zealot. you have given further proof that you don't read and truly are not interested in the facts. I wonder why it is that you keep clouding the issue with "you haven't been able to tell me what the DA's job is". we aren't arguing job description. you just don't want to discuss the facts because you don't know them. typical move when you are ignorant of the subject. good luck.

  • @Mutedvox Why are you repeating yourself? When I did debates in highschool, if somebody didn't address the issues of their opponent then they got points against them. Every time I mention a point, you say that I don't read. Just to let you know, I am subscribed to 7 different newspapers online, including the NY Times, Washington Post, Fox News and others, and two are delivered to my house. Oh that's right, they are not as credible as your opinion.

  • @billyslo87 well mr. debater, you have a minus score. you just maintain your routine of never addressing the point. I suggested that you read the information about kline and Tiller and PP and you refuse. as for your newspapers, getting them is one thing, reading is another. the issue that I stated was kline's circumventing the law. you refuse to address it by asking if I know what a DA does. obfuscation, diversion are your tactics. never a real debate.

  • @Mutedvox What great points did you cite and how did you back them up? I cited Federal law and Dan Monnat. What have you cited? You have only accused. In essence you are doing the same thing that you are accusing Kline of doing. No evidence just accusations.

  • @billyslo87 I want YOU to go to any source YOU want to get what YOU perceive to be unbiased information on kline, Tiller and PP. you do have google and other search engines available to you?

  • @billyslo87 one last thing. people thought so much of kline and the way he was representing them as a DA that they voted him OUT. speaks volumes.

  • @Mutedvox Once again no evidence. Just accusations. Is Federal law and Dan Monnat not good enough for you? I have already offered you proof and you just offered accusations and slanders.

  • @billyslo87 check out any of your local papers or perhaps articles from the Topeka Capital-Journal. you just refuse to accept that he did anything wrong. "nine violations of the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct, all tied to Kline's investigations of two abortion providers." I quess the charges are just made up. the point is moot since he is no longer the DA. he teaches at Liberty University School of Law, a Tier 2 school.

  • @billyslo87 you can't really be honest about your opinion. from the papers to fox, you have revealed yourself to be ultra-conservative so much that your ideology doesn't allow you to examine kline's unethical behavior. you believe he is just doing his DA job. you never question his methodology. your only concern is that he got caught and you shamelessly defend his indefensible actions. what will be your moment of outrage? good luck.

  • @billyslo87 we have our own "idiot in residence", Bobby Franklin, state senator of Georgia. he wants all miscarriages to be investigated. he's our phil kline....

  • Per Kline, "sin always begins with a lie", but he was proven not to even reside in the county that he was the DA of, as state law requires. What a hypocrite.

  • Yes that's really as bad as late term abortion, you disgusting bigot.

  • Hold on. Late term abortion is legal, whereas faking residency is not, and what am I a "bigot" of?

  • So if something is 'legal' that means it's right or moral? Huh? Anyone over the age of 10 knows that isn't true. Slavery used to be legal - does that mean it was ok, but stealing a loaf of bread wasn't, because that was illegal? I feel so bad for the victims of public schools. Learn to think critically and try to stop embarrassing yourself. Very sad. Love the abortion defenders - great way to spend your time!

  • @ItsFazsha So. Obama has not proved that he is a US citizen yet.

  • interesting... a previous comment suggests that we do not have the right to own guns to defend ourselves... and yet, we have the right to murder?

  • Pagan ancient societies sacrificed their young to gods made of wood & stone. They declared this was necessary to appease their gods that could neither hear nor see. This led to lifestyles and behavior that knew no boundaries. Inevitably, these societies self-destructed to the point of ceasing to exist. America is now at a crossroads- continue this sacrifice of our young to the gods of materialism & self destruct. Or change our ways? If we don't learn from history, history will repeat itself.

  • Shame on Phill Kline for exploiting communities of faith for political gains. Kline has asked churches to walk dangerously close to the line drawn by the Internal Revenue Service that prohibits nonprofit organizations from supporting political candidates. Specifically, Kline's request of pastors to identify members of their congregations with the deepest pockets and gather congregation members to be campaign workers constitutes a "blatant" violation of the law.

  • Yes...the poor dumb people of faith...clinging to their God their guns and now Phil Kline...poor things.

  • Well they can't all be hedonistic amoral degenerates like you.

  • Keep up the good work Phil! Many of us stand with you!!! Kansas HAS to pull itself out of the gutter that Sebelius and Morrison plunged it into! What good is a state that doesn't enforce it's own moral laws? No good at all...

  • One of the best speaches ever made on the subject. Too bad that the evil that pervades the politics in Kansas removed him from office. It's hard to get God fearing people to run for office let alone get them elected.

  • KKKline preachin' his holey ass off...

    It's a thin...

"thin always begins with a lie.."

    a a a faver...

    Still a twit.
