@rjboni - Not always. New York is massive, with a good sized Emergency Services Unit of course. However, if intelligence on the location of a suspect is received and there are no tactical units close, and there's a chance the suspect will leave the area, the beat officers will go.

This is too fake for me. SWAT should of been called for this. Snipers would have taken out the uzi guy. Aerial surveillance should have been done and a drive by. You don't fuck around when cops lives are on the line, especially when a cop has already been killed.

ya the slide is back but it doesnt look all the way. plus the way davis reacted after it "clicked" is not typical of a reloading situation. you dont touch the slide when u reload, u drop the mag, put in the new one, and hit the slide stop. davis looked like he was doing tap, rack, bang, which is how police and military are trained as an immediate action upon a weapon malfunction.

The .38 is a good reliable gun that will not jam, I guess he's used it so long that he doesn't want to change now. Sully's old school like my dad. 25 yrs. on the job and still using the .38 detectives special.

Could you name a few more songs from this episode? There was a great instrumental song when the guy was preparing the bullets and the patrol cars were out on the streets. Only pictures were shown nothing really happened. It was just a "montage" between acts.
