Should mention the protocol for flying there, Don't bother the farmer asking if you can go in, he is happy for people to fly there. Leave the gate how you found it, if its closed, close it behind you on the way in / out, if its open, leave it open.
Was a fun day actually, even tho we were frustrated with the shitty conditions. the hot lake water after the week of hot weather ruined to lift. its amazing how much differences is makes, we were flying the smaller layed back section in 10 knots last visit, today it was all over if it drooped to 13 odd on the bigger steeper hill!

Hi guys, Just looked up Lake Connewarre on Google Earth and realized it's near the town of Geelong where I used to live. Didn't even know it existed. Looks like a great site.
Am I right in assuming it's at the end of Mathews Rd.?
