It's been a long time since we filmed this video. I still have an RS i tryed to sell it a few time's but my heart just can let it go :D. The RS has now 93K on the clock and it has 312KM and 400nm.
the rs... ahhh what a car, i just wish my 1.8 could compare. people are saying they expected the RS to roar away but it didnt, well sorry but it just did, what people need to remember is the RS will hit 60 long before the 1.6 and by the time the 1.6 hits 60 the RS will be pulling into triple figures long gone, god i love that car.
I have first hand raced a normal U.S. focus vs. my Focus SVT (U.S. equivalent to ST) and it wasn't even close. I know the other guy is a decent driver but it's hard to beat a better car.

like i say id love to take it off you but as im only 18 goin on 19, insurance wouldnt even touch me, it does my head in...ive got the standard 2 litre focus at the min, its ok, but u test drove the st170 the other day n thats mint compared to mine, but i cant even get insured on one of them....I HATE INSURERS LOL
yeah they are shite towards young drivers.....ive been lucky i found good insurers at the time i was that age about 8-9 years ago they werent that bad.....started with a nove 1.3SR then a 1.4SRI then the GTE then a GSI which i had for 5 years and then an astra 2.2 SRI 52 plate and then this RS!!tempted 4 the new RS but i think i might go for the ST in orange or silver or black.....could send u some pics if u like of it?
can you send some pics please? id go for the st from what ive heard i dno if that 300bhp of the new RS will work that well on front wheel drive, you never know tho lol

i love insurers because it stops young inexperianced drivers getting into a car thats FAR too big for them, and causing destruction and/or death. but i do know what you mean, i would love an RS :P

okay because my dad paid £12,000 for his y reg (2001) focus and it has the 1.6 engine but it says se on it and also we tested it out and it says 127BHP with no mods what so ever how much did you buy your for?
get a clio 172 cup for quarter of the price n go just as quick but wid a better chassis

Wrong. The engine in a Focus 1.6 is the 'Zetec SE', also known as the 'Sigma'.
