  • I know right??? But then you remember that you don't have a wheel at home!!!! Damn it :(.

  • Love that!

Hope you'll show it to us when you are done.

When I was up in the mountains this last week I just used abig old rock to wedge on.

I usually put another rod or stick between the roller and wire, for a narrower guage as I'm not as steady as you Simon.

It's as if the flies are a starved for minerals,or dampness.

I worked in a ceramics shop, customers dogs and our puppies would lick the shelving blocks, they like the Calcium I guess.

    Thanks for more insperation!!!

  • so many flies!

  • That's beautiful!

  • Great freshness to this one. You just got excited, turned on the camera and tried something new - Came out nicely to. Very inspiring, thanks again Simon!

  • I like your faceted bowls, I saw some very nice ones on your website.

By the way, are you going to show us how you make the "tiered bows"? like the one numbered B-29, for instance.

  • Nice form! I can see it glaze a few different ways. You really reminded me to take more chances and try new things. It's funny how I forget the tools I have around me that can be used to alter a simple form. Thanks!!!

  • How will you glaze or finish the bowl? Do you have a completed bowl in mind before you begin or do you decide the on the glaze as you go along?

  • Beautiful bowl Simon. I swear I heard that fly yelling "weeeee"

  • I was thinking the same thing!! He must have been dizzy by the end of it!

  • That looked fun! Nice result too!

  • Looks great, I'll have to give it a shot.
