thats a good point. Yes all products some of them might have a defect. But the point i was trying to make in this video is that compaq's are cheep and nasty laptops. Sure most of them work but that quality of the components is very poor. They are mostley made out of HP spare parts. But this laptop was the last compaq that i had because all the rest died with general use. The laptop was like 5 years old and it died and got fixed at least 11 times in its life.

True story for their older models like the one in the video.

After HP redesigned the Compaq brand (post presario a900) things got a lot better.

I'm typing this from a Compaq presario A900 bought 1.5 years ago and never had any problems.

I will never recommend the older models but there's really nothing wrong with the newer models.

yea its the desktops that you buys off them, I have a Toshiba laptop and they are good, Dell and Asus are the best ones you can buy. Toshiba are the best but are pricey but what you pay for is what you get.

So my advice is Toshiba because they can do everything and not break if you drop it.

This is not the best but it ran fine once windows booted up. The laptop did not use loads of power out of the laptop and it is fully compatible with XP it even has all the drivers on the website. It was running windows 98 when i got it and it did the same this as this even with a fully formated and harddrive replacement it did the same this.

I smashed it in the end and it was fun!
