It's like the people that built the building said "hey let's put a room here". It smells foul and is scary as hell even during the day. To make a big youtube ghost vid you must make it shakey/blurry/nightshot and have screaming and running in it. Our acting was bad the difference is we planned it. Were you expecting a "real" ghost?
the whimper sound is coming from the girl that's investigating because she is creeped out. Regarding the last clip the girl doesn't run up the stairs she runs around a left hand corner through a doorway that swings in. It's hard to make out the doorway but it's in line with the doorway on the right.
im not saying this video is fake nor real but the last clip of the supposed deceased child running up the stairs was too clear kind of reminds me of something you'd see in a movie like if a person just got a small glimpse of a memory of them as a child....if you could explain that last clip that would be fantastic
We didn't put that in it was totally unexpected. I had a FMRS radio and that signal came through. It gave my daughter quite a start. The purpose of this video was to share it with friends of the people how helped us make it not to hoax the internet although that is a reasonable assumption.

nowadays with our advance technology we can fake videos like that, somethings wrong with the apparition of the girl in the video. it was so very clear, did they do that intentionally?!
I actually shot and edited the video and yes the entire production was intentional. I uploaded this with 1 of the video participant's account. The purpose was to share it with friends and family not prove or disprove the existence of ghosts. I do enjoy people commenting on the subject as if they are experts. It's fascinating subject. The most believable fakes use nightshot/shakey camera etc.
Some "experts" say no to shadows but don't offer any proof just their opinion. My opinion is that even things you can't see, like heated air or gas fumes cast shadows so why not something that's visible? I created this video and it's not an apparition.

This is not a video to be taken as proof of the existence of ghosts obviously. Regarding the truth, I don't think you will get it on youtube. What you will get is people's opinions based on everything but facts. Most people look for evidence to backup what they already believe. Good luck.

Whats so insulting about it is they go to so much effort to make it seem so real and in the end they use a obvious computer effect to simulate a ghost, an effect i've seen many times before in peoples for fun home movies. So it's like you get so worked up trying to make a "serious" video just to insult my intelligence by using an obvious computer effect and expecting people who know better to believe it. A good video should make me question it's validity.

It's my vid, and I didn't have an account at the time and since she was in it I used hers. Basically wanted to share it with the people who were in it and their friends. Once the "experts" started to chime in on why a ghost can't cast a shadow it snow-balled the comments. Once the experts realized I've worked with video and wasn't an 20yr old some admitted there really aren't any hard facts when dealing with the paranormal just people's experiences and assumptions.

Was it the lack of a news channel on the "Breaking News" screen/heartbeat/video effects/bad acting etc or was it your vast knowledge of what "real" paranormal events are like? Hate to say it, but those clips used as evidence can be easily faked.
All you have to do is film an empty setting for x amount of time, then film whatever you want in front of it. During editing: Overlay the video of the empty space with the acting then drop the opacity of the acting clip and voila.. a ghost.
Easy stuff. Because of that, it's a bit hard to believe.
On top of that, if you're going to be talking about high readings, at least announce the numbers.
You actually only need 1 frame and stretch it out for as long as you want then overlay the other video track. We didn't rehearse due to time constraints so all the lines were spontaneous.
To your main point, this vid was never meant as evidence of anything it had another purpose all together.

Look at all the effects Ghost Hunters uses or Most Haunted, it's all an attempt to create a mood by production techniques. This video which I created btw, starts out with vary obvious effects like, special report subtractive chroma keying, heartbeat etc. It's obviously NOT a special report nor is it LIVE! Where is the NEWS channel number? I hope it didn't take until the scary music to raise your doubts because that would beg the question, when did your brain finally kick in?
OK so I had a couple of typos,I have a tendency to type to fast. Its still an EM"F" Detector, not an EMW detector, not to mention she keeps ranting about how the reading are so high, yet never give an actuall number. why??? it's an ohm meter actually...My daughter can get a little over the top...The problem with EMF and EVP and paranormal in general is that there are no hard facts just peoples experiences. People see an "Orb" or dust and not only is it a ghost it's a person who died blah blah and there is an entire story behind this dust particle with absolutely no evidence to back it up. People shut their brains off because they want to believe so badly.
What so many uninformed people fail to realize is that the paranormal field is comprised of experts from a wide range of comparative sciences and professions. The TAPS team founders as an example are plumbers and yet I wouldn't make such a wide sweeping statement that "I never knew paranormal experts carried pipe wrenches". note: as the girl walks past the window it casts a shadow ''before'' and after(in the puddle) thus this image has mass.also if you pause this video as the girl is looking into the camera then zoom in x2 she doesnt appaer to have any facial fetures,such as nose,eyes,mouth.but why oh why do people find it nessersery to put scarey music in the background? bizzare.
Hi darkshiney...When you say mass do you mean solid mass? What does casting a shadow have to do with anything? Are you saying a ghost can't cast a shadow? Regarding the facial features I think it has something to do with the compression the video went through before uploading. In the uncompressed file she retains her features. There is no puddle on the floor it must be a reflection from the window you are seeing...
hello markinter5,yes solid mass which gives this video a little more credability.sorry my bad it looked like a puddle for a second there.the thing about casting shadows is that so manu=y fakes dont have the shadow that come with the apperition,if you can see it with the naked eye it will cast a shadow.regarding the facial fetures i use a video/audio program call 'nuendo' one of there manu plug-ins is pixel enhancer which gives more resolution irrispective of conditions. thanks for reaplying! :)
Most people who've commented on the shadow use that to discredit rather than support this clip. Of course there is no real evidence to support either side but I find it very interesting. I created this video and uploaded it via my daughter's friends account because at the time I didn't have an account. The purpose of this video was to share it with the friends of those who participated in the production, not to convince or fake the youtube community of the existence of ghosts.
The scary music like all soundtracks add to the experience, it's no different whether it's Ghost Hunters or Ghost Busters. Watch any of the Craziest Police chases etc and notice the dubbed car and siren noises. The car could be in the dirt and they dub in tire skidding on pavement sounds. They must have amazing microphones on those helicopters:)
Well said... This video was never intended to be taken as proof in the paranormal or as an attempt to fool people. When the comments started to flow in regarding what constitutes a "real ghost" it became apparent that people including self proclaim experts have no facts to backup their statements. As I've stated before if you want to fool people with a video you have to use nightshot/shaky camera/ quick panning/grainy quality/ and blurry focus.
true that to. recently heard that ppl see & hear what they want to. If they get a blurry picture the mind will right away try to get it to a face. & sometimes ghost pics with faces are just something that ppl in their mind form to faces or such. Many want to believe it so badly that they make it up in their mind unconcious. I find orbs & EVPs more like,"real proof" that is enough to. you se & hear what you want to hear simply said. the mind makes it up even if you don't mean to make it up..
I think a good investigation would be to set some equipment up and leave it there for a few months without any interaction by investigators. Then review the footage every few days to changeout tapes or hard drives, thereby eliminating the human factor as much as possible. That way some ones stomach growling isnt interpreted as an EVP saying get out of here.

I would agree on EVP's being signifigant proof, but I would have to say in the mojority of cases orbs are to easilly explained by dust, bugs and light reflections. unless they very obviously interact with you. Also would a transparent apparition cast such a dark shadow, that makes me question the legitimatcy of this video. but I would have to see more before making a final judgment

Why can't a ghost cast a shadow? Not that this ghost is real but many transparent things cast a shadow. There is no proof 1 way or another unless you have some facts others aren't aware of. For that matter why does the ghost appear to walk on the floor as if she were solid?

The short answer is people are very stupid. Don't blame Constantine. Like I've said, this video isn't meant to prove the existence of ghosts even though some comments indicate people believe this vid is real. I could easily make a vid you'd believe. It would have a nightshot/low light/ shakey camera /low rez look and you'd buy it hook line and sinker. Talk about stupid people, take a critical look at what you believe. Please post a link to a "real" ghost for me and explain why you think its real

This is not a video to be taken as proof of the existence of ghosts obviously. Regarding the truth, I don't think you will get it on youtube. What you will get is people's opinions based on everything but facts. Most people look for evidence to backup what they already believe. Good luck.

Whats so insulting about it is they go to so much effort to make it seem so real and in the end they use a obvious computer effect to simulate a ghost, an effect i've seen many times before in peoples for fun home movies. So it's like you get so worked up trying to make a "serious" video just to insult my intelligence by using an obvious computer effect and expecting people who know better to believe it. A good video should make me question it's validity.

Man, the secret for a good hoax is subtlety. That 'transparent ghost' is so cheap-movie-stuff no one will consider it as real for a second. Nice intro, though. It got my attention. If only the 'apparition' would be less laughable...

It's my vid, and I didn't have an account at the time and since she was in it I used hers. Basically wanted to share it with the people who were in it and their friends. Once the "experts" started to chime in on why a ghost can't cast a shadow it snow-balled the comments. Once the experts realized I've worked with video and wasn't an 20yr old some admitted there really aren't any hard facts when dealing with the paranormal just people's experiences and assumptions.

Hate to say it, but those clips used as evidence can be easily faked.
All you have to do is film an empty setting for x amount of time, then film whatever you want in front of it. During editing: Overlay the video of the empty space with the acting then drop the opacity of the acting clip and voila.. a ghost.
Easy stuff. Because of that, it's a bit hard to believe.
On top of that, if you're going to be talking about high readings, at least announce the numbers.

You actually only need 1 frame and stretch it out for as long as you want then overlay the other video track. We didn't rehearse due to time constraints so all the lines were spontaneous.
To your main point, this vid was never meant as evidence of anything it had another purpose all together.

No problem! And about the evidence thing not really meant to be what it's supposed to be, I realized that after going back and reading through some of the other comments, so I apologize for coming off as a bit "Uh..this is fake.."
I've taken classes in editing before and have played around with turning people into ghosts. It's pretty fun :)
Either way, the video was well done :)

Check my profile and you'll see a few other clips I've done if you'd like. This video was posted so the people who participated in it could share it with friends and it kind of snowballed with peoples comments regarding what and what not a ghost can do. Some self proclaimed experts tried to state things as fact when there are no facts just peoples experiences. I'm not saying people don't have experiences but that they can't be applied universally as fact. Thanks again for your comment.

Look at all the effects Ghost Hunters uses or Most Haunted, it's all an attempt to create a mood by production techniques. This video which I created btw, starts out with vary obvious effects like, special report subtractive chroma keying, heartbeat etc. It's obviously NOT a special report nor is it LIVE! Where is the NEWS channel number? I hope it didn't take until the scary music to raise your doubts because that would beg the question, when did your brain finally kick in?

Actually EMF detectors measure magnetic pulse waves and the distance between the oscillations determine the strength of the field.

it's an ohm meter actually...My daughter can get a little over the top...The problem with EMF and EVP and paranormal in general is that there are no hard facts just peoples experiences. People see an "Orb" or dust and not only is it a ghost it's a person who died blah blah and there is an entire story behind this dust particle with absolutely no evidence to back it up. People shut their brains off because they want to believe so badly.

What so many uninformed people fail to realize is that the paranormal field is comprised of experts from a wide range of comparative sciences and professions. The TAPS team founders as an example are plumbers and yet I wouldn't make such a wide sweeping statement that "I never knew paranormal experts carried pipe wrenches". This experts field happens to deal with trace element potentially left behind after a paranormal event, so the lab coat is appropriate. Do some research before posting please

note: as the girl walks past the window it casts a shadow ''before'' and after(in the puddle) thus this image has mass.also if you pause this video as the girl is looking into the camera then zoom in x2 she doesnt appaer to have any facial fetures,such as nose,eyes,mouth.but why oh why do people find it nessersery to put scarey music in the background? bizzare.

Hi darkshiney...When you say mass do you mean solid mass? What does casting a shadow have to do with anything? Are you saying a ghost can't cast a shadow? Regarding the facial features I think it has something to do with the compression the video went through before uploading. In the uncompressed file she retains her features. There is no puddle on the floor it must be a reflection from the window you are seeing...

hello markinter5,yes solid mass which gives this video a little more credability.sorry my bad it looked like a puddle for a second there.the thing about casting shadows is that so manu=y fakes dont have the shadow that come with the apperition,if you can see it with the naked eye it will cast a shadow.regarding the facial fetures i use a video/audio program call 'nuendo' one of there manu plug-ins is pixel enhancer which gives more resolution irrispective of conditions. thanks for reaplying! :)

Most people who've commented on the shadow use that to discredit rather than support this clip. Of course there is no real evidence to support either side but I find it very interesting. I created this video and uploaded it via my daughter's friends account because at the time I didn't have an account. The purpose of this video was to share it with the friends of those who participated in the production, not to convince or fake the youtube community of the existence of ghosts.

The scary music like all soundtracks add to the experience, it's no different whether it's Ghost Hunters or Ghost Busters. Watch any of the Craziest Police chases etc and notice the dubbed car and siren noises. The car could be in the dirt and they dub in tire skidding on pavement sounds. They must have amazing microphones on those helicopters:)

Well said... This video was never intended to be taken as proof in the paranormal or as an attempt to fool people. When the comments started to flow in regarding what constitutes a "real ghost" it became apparent that people including self proclaim experts have no facts to backup their statements. As I've stated before if you want to fool people with a video you have to use nightshot/shaky camera/ quick panning/grainy quality/ and blurry focus.

true that to. recently heard that ppl see & hear what they want to. If they get a blurry picture the mind will right away try to get it to a face. & sometimes ghost pics with faces are just something that ppl in their mind form to faces or such. Many want to believe it so badly that they make it up in their mind unconcious. I find orbs & EVPs more like,"real proof" that is enough to. you se & hear what you want to hear simply said. the mind makes it up even if you don't mean to make it up..

I think a good investigation would be to set some equipment up and leave it there for a few months without any interaction by investigators. Then review the footage every few days to changeout tapes or hard drives, thereby eliminating the human factor as much as possible. That way some ones stomach growling isnt interpreted as an EVP saying get out of here.

I would agree on EVP's being signifigant proof, but I would have to say in the mojority of cases orbs are to easilly explained by dust, bugs and light reflections. unless they very obviously interact with you. Also would a transparent apparition cast such a dark shadow, that makes me question the legitimatcy of this video. but I would have to see more before making a final judgment

Why can't a ghost cast a shadow? Not that this ghost is real but many transparent things cast a shadow. There is no proof 1 way or another unless you have some facts others aren't aware of. For that matter why does the ghost appear to walk on the floor as if she were solid?
