If any of you are wondering why there were so many scenes deleted, first and foremost it's because it's a movie, not a book. and a thriller genre at that. All these scenes do add character and plot to the story but they kill the building suspense of a thriller movie, which is suppose to transition from one scene to another quickly. Secondly, if you've noticed, the movie is already almost 2 1/2 hours long, any more and the audience would be dead bored.
