why did you get a sempron?? really awful processors. I have the same laptop,with different processor(AMD Turion MK-36),and it boots much faster than that. It took you around a minute to boot,whereas a turion would take at least 50% that.

go to start->run programs->*type in* dxdiag -> and tell me ur specs

Its 15.4 screen size, and the graphics are Radeon Xpress 1100 ( The graphics arent great... But I can play Unreal Tournament 2003 if I tone the graphics down a bit... its obviously not a good laptop for gaming though)

And I think the DirectX version is 9.0c... (Latest?) Hopefully building a new PC soon, want to play with DX10.

I think it takes about 64mb from the system, although you can change that too about max 128mb... I got more ram for the laptop so I think its using 128mb at the moment.

(See Reply Below) not really great for gaming no... I didnt really buy it for that... the only games I play on the laptop are old ones (Quake 1, 2, 3) etc, I have a custom built PC for games.
