  • This is so cool... i played this game constantly when i was 4. WOW i completely forgot about it until today, and hearing this music is fucking great!

  • Apogee kicked ass, some of the best games of my childhood were made by them... I miss those days :(

  • Apogee are good, but I don't know why they renamed to ID :p

  • They didn't rename themselves to iD. iD was active back then as well. Apogee became 3D Realms, which is now sadly, gone.. RIP 3DR.

  • @mouthmw Yeah, Duke Nukem killed 'em.

No, not 'forever'. the original Duke Nukem 3D. It was so succesful, that they haven't bothered to release more shareware games. It's a pity, because their last two games Death Rally, and Stargunner (both released in 1996) were far greater quality, than their earlier console clones.

  • me too man.. i remember playing it when i was like 4-5 ... those were the days

  • i was like 4-5 years old when i played this game. brings back good old memorys

  • I loved this game sooo much, remember being 5 or 6 playing the shit out of it

  • god man i love looking at old games i used to play, man i miss those days

  • This is so nostalgic :D So incredible. I used to play this when I was about 6. My dad told me where on the computer I could find it, and played and played and played. In total I finished this game 2 or 3 times. I knew where to find all the bonus treasure and key combinations. So cool. I still have it, on my WindowsXP PC. And I still like it, more then some games that have been made in the last couple of years. The level with the big trees always made me so nervous, anyone remember that level? :D

  • Episode 2 - Level 9 (Boss Level).

  • I just came nostalgia.

  • Awesome soundtrack for that time.

  • I remember getting really far in this game when I was younger. Looking at the games that I was addicted to all those years ago compared to the ones that I am addicted to now... Computers sure have come a far way.

Very cool, brings back alot of memories.

  • Nostalgia bomb.

  • this was one of the games that came with my IBM 486 when i bought it from a friend sometime 1994, along with Might and Magic III.... ah the good times, 13 years old and not a care in the world besides games :)

  • When I was three or four, my mother played this by night. She wasn't enough good to end the game by herself, I remember she awakened my brother (two years older than me) to ask him to jump some holes she wasn't able to xD

Thanks a lot for posting this video, it brought good remembers

  • Oh my days! i LOVED this when i was a kid until my dad took it off the computer.

  • I played that when I was like 5 years old.

  • I forgot to mention the "feelgood" or was it "feel good"? oh never mind it restored health to full.

  • Woooooooooooo Hocus pocus que recuerdos =´)

  • i love this game, I have beaten the shareware version so many times... I even got sound working on my old WinME computer!

  • Whoa! Blast from the past! In a major way.

  • this game was so great..

  • i got this game for 5 bucks and london drugs when i was little. loved it! that, and commander keen

  • I had this game when I was young. the full version in a box. I've since disposed of the disc itself but I still do have the manual as proof :D

I remember going all the way to the end. and the white potions which made you fire like a machine gun. and there were cheats for that but the cheat for the 'machine gun' pot wasn't as good as finding the real thing.

  • Lol yeah for sure like I remember one cheat, I forgot what it did, but the code is "banana." Man this game, biomenace, blake stone, and I know I'm for getting some but all those old school apogee games. Dude brings back great memories.

    Brings back memories.

    I have beaten those 10 crazy monks(ep 1)

  • Oh the memories! Thank you for the nostalgia.

  • APOGEE

  • almost 15 years since i played this game! good stuff!

  • Simply brilliant game - used to play it when I was very young with my friends, older brother, younger sister and cousins, along with a heap of other cool games like the oldest Duke Nukem, Maths Rescue :D

  • Freak !

    HAHA :)

  • This is a great game!

  • yah I had the damo, I always wanted the fulll version ... :(

  • I played this last time when I was a kid... I hope to get my hands on it again, to install it on my computer, and make it work. Its so nostalgic... Does anyone know HOW you make old games like this work on a todays computer, with sound and all?

  • Well, there are two options, you can download DOSbox, [an emulator which makes the classics compatable and with great classics] or you can get VDMsound. All in all, they're both brilliant emulators. :}

  • i love this game! i still have it and play it occasionally.

  • Pure nostalgia!!! I only have ever had the demo... Never did find the full version... My sis and I totally loved it tho :p The plotline was something like, you messed around with some of the master's shit or summit.. I only vaguely remember... This inspires me to play it again :p

  • I loved this game, graphics were so detailed and varied. I only played the shareware but at this time, demos were long enough to get bored.

  • I only ever had the demo, so I had only the first 9 levels... but it did rule. ^_^

  • that wizard guy is such a pessimist, "sure you found the secret room you still doomed to failure" well stuff you old wizard.

  • So what was the storyline for this game again? I know there wasn't much of one, but there was a plot outline I seem to remember.

  • I completely forgot about this game! Thanks for digging it up!

  • this game rulez!

  • Another lovely DOS platformer. This game really has some great music.

  • remember playing this when i was a kid, good fun :P

  • So do I. The first level music has been programmed into my cellphone as a rather feeble ringtone though -_-
