@WittleKittyCat i would love to see another game like this one! but rare was sold to microsoft by nintendo back in the late 90's. however, nintendo kept the rights to donkey kong. so the team that made this game split in half, one half took the games elements and the other half took the games characters (and carelessly threw them into the mario spin off series). So I highly doubt we'll being seeing a sequal anytime soon, but we can keep our hopes off, so long as we don't hold our breathe :)

Just because it's an oversaturated genre full of mindless run n gun shooters like COD and Halo (I actually love Halo) doesnt mean there arent any good ones. Games like Crysis, Deus Ex, Half-life, Bioshock, etc. pinnacles of shooting, they test your skill, mind, and abilities. Those are true games, and even games like BC2 where you rely on teamwork, communication and strategy to win.

We dont need a great storyline at all. Games like Mario, Zelda, etc. bland, mediocre plots, but the games themselves were and are still amazing. We need gameplay, and while most current-gen games are shooters doesnt mean you wont find any good non-shooter game that isnt from Nintendo. Now, just because a PS3, 360 or PC game has good graphics doesnt mean it sacrifices good gameplay. Games like Halo have lame graphics but fun gameplay and a ton of features and modes

The only thing Rareware has done well with Microsoft is the Perfect Dark re-release. They should totally team up with Nintendo again. The Nintendo universe has such a magical potential to it, and Rares development team can match that potential
