Too bad Energon as a series isn't as good as this vid. It's like the people who made it only saw the toys and skimmed the last episode of Armada before deciding to make a direct sequal. One can spend hours ranting about how bad Energon is from the plot holes big enough Unicron fell through, the cruddy animation, and how they threw out 98% of Armadas story despite Armada being a prequel and way better, but that wouldn't polish this turd of a show, and to think Cybertron is leaps and bounds worse.

@BaxterXenon I liked Beast Wars and thoroughly enjoy Prime, I just strongly feel Hasbro messed up when they commissioned three different companies to make the three series. The first company did an excellent job, the second did a horrible job, and the third company went out of their way to do something they wanted without any regard for what they were supposed to do and ended up making the only Transformers series that should never have existed, well outside of beast machines.
When I was young my parents threw away all my Transformers toys away. I had 2 Unicron 2 Optimus (One red and one blue) and a classic Cliffjumper if I still had Cliffjumper I could've sold it for $50!

They say it will be a radically different approach to Shockwave so I expect he'll get the same shitty treatment as Devastator or Jetfire, with the former's giant "balls" as a humorless gag, and the latter being an "old man" robot. Honestly, I'm glad Bay isn't using Unicron; he'd just fuck him up. He'd probably make his planet mode look like a giant boob.

Yes, I know enough from the comics that Shockwave and Megatron clashed more than once over control of the position Decepticon commander, but you have to remember that Megatron was the one that left Shockwave in control of Cybertron. Megatron ORDERED him to do so. Megatron has never been the "bitch" of Shockwave.

Bay is a bittersweet victory for Transformers and hes done some good things. The reason it had been trapped in mediocrity is because the Japanese series run in circles. Then, when an animator starts a new series, they go from the beginning, meaning where they introduce Optimus Prime and the battle with the Decepticons all over again. If they broke the cycle, you know, started doing some new material, it would fall from this eternal orbit around the same stuff. And yes, I watched Generations 1 and 2 as a boy. That, G.I.Joe, Thundercats (re-runs). Those were great days.
Look, I can see where you are coming from. The Japanese series really agitated me. They basically injected Power Rangers and that Sentai nonsense into the chemistry of Transformers, and made the show into a parody. But Bay's sex-joke filled, idiotic series (with the Constructicon with giant balls, seriously) is no substitute. I'll watched CG fights, but the crappy human elements take up SO MUCH of the movies.

Well Michael Bay said that, there won´t be as much action in TF3, but he said also that it will be more emotional and more into the robot characters. There will be more about Bumbelbee and it might be darker. It still would be cool to see Primus fight Unicron. But it might be too big of a job to be done in less than two years. But who am I to say? Industrial light and magic have already amazed us twice with their AMAZING special effects in TF1 and 2.
If Unicron were to be in the 3rd TF movie, it would more than likely mean the end of the movie line imo. Because once he's defeated, there wouldn't be any other villians more sinister. The next movie should intro Shockwave as a sort of second in command who comes back with Megs to smash on the Autobots.
Idk, in the armada series and those following, cybertron was being consumed by a black whole, and cybertron ended up to be primus himself.... and that came after unicron.
no TF3 needs to be Galvatron, tho if they do it seems like it'll be Galvatron being a superior to Megatron tho thats not the case in G1 dunno bout the others never watched them, but Bay said they werent gonna do Unicron due to the difficulty it would provide to CGI him all the time and all the Green Screen work it would require

energon and the other versions of transformers were alright but G1 was the best. Though some characters in the other versions were better characters compared to g1. LIke jetfire. Him as a space ship was pretty cool

Go and hate all you want to. Seriously. Heres a fact for you. Before the "Bayformers" you all detest...Transformers as a brand was dying out. They were mutated into a DBZ with robots clone that a true fan would recoil from if they ever came close to even on accident. Before Bayformers there was a dying series. After Bayformers there was a brewing interest. New toys...new games and a new hope at simply getting an updated G1 series. So really. Quit hating on the one guy whos actually helping!

I'm certain you'll start singing a different tune once Michael Bay has Unicron as some giant, rapping planet. He filled the first Transformers and RotF with so much of that shit, with ridiculous characters like the Twins, and terrible jokes, that it only makes sense that he'll do something to completely fuck up Unicron.

Quit bashing Bay. The truth is that before Bay grabbed and reinvented the franchise it was not only drifting into teenie bop kiddie toon land but it was trapped in mediocrity! Bay is a bittersweet victory for Transformers and hes done some good things. Besides are you really going to sit there and watch shit like this "cybertrontransformersballz" and tell me you take that seriously? Have you ever actually seen any G1 stuff?

The reason it had been trapped in mediocrity is because the Japanese series run in circles. Then, when an animator starts a new series, they go from the beginning, meaning where they introduce Optimus Prime and the battle with the Decepticons all over again. If they broke the cycle, you know, started doing some new material, it would fall from this eternal orbit around the same stuff. And yes, I watched Generations 1 and 2 as a boy. That, G.I.Joe, Thundercats (re-runs). Those were great days.

Look, I can see where you are coming from. The Japanese series really agitated me. They basically injected Power Rangers and that Sentai nonsense into the chemistry of Transformers, and made the show into a parody. But Bay's sex-joke filled, idiotic series (with the Constructicon with giant balls, seriously) is no substitute. I'll watched CG fights, but the crappy human elements take up SO MUCH of the movies.

IMO, they got it right in ROTF by having most of the humans with huge roles in the first one, have small roles in ROTF. An dthere where more TFs, but didnt get much screen time. I just hope everyone gets atleast five minutes in TF3

Well Michael Bay said that, there won´t be as much action in TF3, but he said also that it will be more emotional and more into the robot characters. There will be more about Bumbelbee and it might be darker. It still would be cool to see Primus fight Unicron. But it might be too big of a job to be done in less than two years. But who am I to say? Industrial light and magic have already amazed us twice with their AMAZING special effects in TF1 and 2.

If Unicron were to be in the 3rd TF movie, it would more than likely mean the end of the movie line imo. Because once he's defeated, there wouldn't be any other villians more sinister. The next movie should intro Shockwave as a sort of second in command who comes back with Megs to smash on the Autobots.

no TF3 needs to be Galvatron, tho if they do it seems like it'll be Galvatron being a superior to Megatron tho thats not the case in G1 dunno bout the others never watched them, but Bay said they werent gonna do Unicron due to the difficulty it would provide to CGI him all the time and all the Green Screen work it would require
