  • Lucy just ain't funny without Ricky.

  • @VASINGER , oh puleez! This is hilarious!

  • "There she is! GRAB HER!" I laughed so hard.

  • Kathleen was also the nun in the first Blues Brothers movie with Belushi and Ackroyd

  • @ekocentric And Peggy Bundy's mom on Married with children.

  • That other lady in the wheelchair sort of looks and sounds like Vivian Vance. I know Vivian had a sister in real life and I wonder if she ever appeared on the Show. I love The Lucy Show especially when Vivian was on it. Lucy was Hilarious as she wheeled the chair moving her arms and had that zany look she gets when she is at her Zaniest.

  • Physical comedy......no one was better than L.B.

  • where is rickey and fred...lol

  • Did anyone notice the man in the wheelchair? Isn't he wearing Ricky's (Desi Arnaz) robe from I Love Lucy?

  • What season was this show? 2nd or 3rd?

  • @tgerclaw, second season, which comes out on DVD on July 13.

  • Which Lucy show series was this from? 2nd season or 3rd season? Let me know.

  • The Official Second Season of Lucille Ball's second series The Lucy Show, is coming to DVD on July 13, 2010! If you haven't seen the Lucy show it is so funny! And the second season co-stars Vivian Vance(Ethel)! Also it's in Color!

  • Very funny. Just what I expect of Lucy.

  • This is one of the funniest scenes. There was one two other's I would love to see one is from the first season when she was making a wedding cake and making punch which she got drunk tasting. the other is when she and Ann Sothern were drunk at a benefit singing "I love Paris in the spingtime". I wish someone would post those. Lucy is Classic!

  • You can certainly see the first season episode where Lucy and Viv get drunk making a wedding cake because the first season of The Lucy Show is out on DVD. And the second season will be out in July.

  • I'm here again and full in tears...even knowing wheel-by-wheel what's gonna happen, I'm out! This was, is my favorite, best act, I Love Lucy from the bottom of my heart... even my " tummy hurts"...We don't have I Love Lucy's here in Budapest.

    P.S. ... Pls. keep this 1 here for me...tks.

  • The official first season of the lucy show is in stores now!

  • i thought I'd seen every episode of "The Lucy Show", but I don't remember this. It was funny, thanks for posting it.

  • I'm amazed how I remember all the faces from the Show. Gosh it's been ages.

  • Did she ever make it to Mr. Mooney's hospital room?

  • Unfortunately for Mr. Mooney, yes she did! That was a great scene, too. I'm so glad this series is finally coming out on DVD.

  • Thank God for Lucy!!@!

  • What is the actress' name who plays the head nurse? She was in a lot of Jerry Lewis movies also...

  • That's the great comedic character actress, Kathleen Freeman.

  • LMAO!!!

  • LUCY AND HER IDEAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I Want to know where u can get this episode!!! or can u at least post the rest of it

  • I got it off of cable TV years ago. I'm still anticipating that CBS/Paramount may be releasing TLS on DVD, so I'm not putting up complete episodes.

  • The second season is being released on DVD July 13, 2010! It is available for pre-order on amazon!

  • @Lucy4Ever11 This is a season 2 episode and season 2 is coming out on DVD July 13, 2010!

  • @Lucy4Ever11 , this episode is from the second season of The Lucy Show, which is now available on DVD.

  • LOL that was really funny! When they all kept running back and forth down that hallway and the nurse is like GET HER!

  • omg that chase was hilarious

  • WHo was Hazel pierce? The name is familiar, but I can't place who she was.

  • Hazel Pierce was an older woman that Lucille Ball used VERY frequently as a stand-in and extra on her shows. I'm not sure where she found her, but it seems every time they needed an extra on I LOVE LUCY or in the early years of THE LUCY SHOW, Hazel would be there. She rarely spoke any lines, but she's almost always somewhere in the background. In this clip, she's the last female in the line. By the way, she was 69 years old here.

  • Oh, i know who you are talking about now! thanks!

  • You taped it when Ha! was a good channel. I can name over a dozen channels that have went down the toilet that used to be great. TV is in such sorry shape today it is pathetic. Thanks for posting this riotous clip!

  • Yeah, the ones with Vivian Vance were the better ones. This episode came from when the series was still good, before the plots became too far-fetched.

  • Yes, I agree that the first three seasons of The Lucy Show were by far the best. By the fourth season, her children were written out of the show; Ms. Vance left the series; Lucy Carmichael moved to California; and the show began to rely heavily on guest stars as opposed to well-developed plots.

  • why did Vivian Vance leave the series?

  • Vivian never really wanted to do this show because she was living in Connecticut at the time and was recently married. The Lucy Show was originally intended to run only one year (to help boost Desilu Productions that season), but Lucy kept extending her commitment to do the show (using it as leverage to force CBS to pick up other Desilu shows). She was able to get Vivian to go along for the ride for awhile, but Vivian grew weary of the coast-to-coast commute and being separated from her husband.

  • oh ok.

  • I think until CBS/Paramount gets off their duff and makes this series available on DVD, everyone should post all the Lucy stuff they have.

  • LOL so funny!

  • Please post the rest of this episode, it is hilarious!!!!!!!

  • 0h..please post the rest of the episode....!more Lucy show to come..!i love this..! how did you get this?

  • I'm a bit uneasy about posting the whole thing. I taped it way back when "The Lucy Show" ran on Ha/Comedy Central. They ran it for four years (1990-1994) just prior to the four years it was on Nick-at-Nite (1994-1998).

  • i thought comedy central was standup but please post more 62-65 and 1968 lucy show

  • Back in 1990, there was no Comedy Central, but a channel called Ha! (which was mostly sitcoms) and another called The Comedy Channel. Ha! launched on April Fool's Day 1990 with a 48-hour non-stop marathon of THE LUCY SHOW. After that, it continued airing on Ha! daily. Around 1992, Ha! and The Comedy Channel merged to become Comedy Central. THE LUCY SHOW continued running daily on Comedy Central until 1994, when it moved to Nick-at-Nite. In the years since, Comedy Central has changed its format.

  • ok but please put more of the lucy show...!!! i really need to watch my favorite show again...LUCY Show RULES!!!!!

  • @dkri2 and went down the toilet like every other damned channel out there. Too bad we have 200 channels and nothing on any of them now. Thanks so much for posting this episode clip. This is one of the Top 10 for sure of The Lucy Show.

  • that was lots of fun! do you have the rest of the episode? what's the name of the episode? looks like from season 2 or 3 from TLC?

    Lawrence

  • Yes, it's a great episode. It's from the second season.
