For all those that demand everybody on the freeway get out of their cars and help, what kind of help would you suggest? In this litigious society, if you "help" someone and they claim that you further injured them, you could be on the hook as well. Also, the assistance that you desire bottlenecks emergency vehicles getting to the crash site in a more efficient manner. Would you really want someone who hasn't specialized in medical care to help you?

Looks like the blue car was in front of that silver Nissan, and the red car was moving into the same lane as the blue car. The red car most likely didn't look to see that the lane was already occupied by the blue car, so the guy in the blue car jerked his wheel hard to the left, and began fish-tailing. Thus....the accident.

Amazed you caught it on video. Bummed that the camera was taken off the dash and not pointed towards the rest of it. Good work otherwise though!

@cudaphil Looks like red car made a lane change to the left, forcing the blue car to take evasive action. The blue car lost control due to the swerve and hit the other two.

Without the camera footage the red car could deny the lane change attempt and the blue car would be blamed.

I do lots of distance hwy driving so I usually try to avoid driving alongside other cars. I spun out once doing a 180 turn cuz I blew out a tire. Luckily I didn't wreck my truck cuz no other vehicles were around.
