Your videos have helped a lot! What was your MCAT score? Are u in a medical school right now? I also wanted to know if it would be wise to tackle all 600 or so prompts on the AAMC website or do we just focus on the different categories you presented previously. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
It remains, however, that people may end up using a product responsibly or irresponsibly on a case by case basis. A person can choose to use a cell phone only when it is appropriate, and a student assisted by the pebbles program may end up abusing the technology by using it in ways that are outside of its intended purpose. Generally, though, the conclusion that a technology's intended purpose-- profit versus helping people-- is a clear deciding factor.
i was just wandering if i send you couple essays which i have written, would you take a look at them, and tell me how can i improve my writting based on my problems?
Ive been watching many of your videos. Thank you for taking the time to make them...they are really helpful. For this prompt, one could argue and say that cell phones etc can be used wisely since we know where to and not to use them. So could I say that the determining factor would be the party using the technology. That is, it would depend on the person. Whether or not that person is wise. Is that a good answer?
The problem with that synthesis is that it is vague and subjective. A good synthesis should be clear cut and situations should fall on either side easily.
It is vague because:
- How would you define wise?
- Who would judge whether the person is wise?
etc.
So in the future, avoid vague syntheses. You want something that is concrete and objectve.
Yes, that's true. That is part of the art of the writing sample. You can often use the same example for either the thesis or the anti-thesis. It depends on how you spin it. So you can decide to emphasize the negative or positive aspects depending on what your needs are for the particular prompt. Don't use the same example for both however.

I do have a practice essay marking service where I provide feedback and personalized advice.
You can find more information in the side bar (if video is in regular quality) or the box in the right hand corner (if video is in high quality).

When you say that the links are on the side, where exactly do you mean by that?
I tried look for PEBBLES project online but could not find any.
Could you provide some official web link so that I can take another look at the material?
Thanks!
I love your MCAT strategies!

To the right of the video, there is a box with text describing the video. Click on more info to expand the box.
In the box, there are links to the sources that I use. You will find links to pages about the PEBBLES project there.
