@The83Pianist I think you're forgetting that this IS mouth played (so can't be returned - just like a harmonica), has reeds similar to one AND has keys - so it falls in that never-land between piano and harmonica. I play both and am very much looking forward to acquiring one since it'll be very portable, satisfy my need to play keyboards and yet is no longer a toy - has a built-in mic, very geared to jazz music among other genres. Easy enough to switch off from this to chromatic harmonica.
@The83Pianist Actually, harmonicas and melodicas are closely related. Both are free reed instruments, however the melodica is technically a free reed aerophone while the harmonica is a free reed wind instrument. But still, they are very similar :P
