Listening to this, Frank doesn't come off too bad. He is idignant of religous terrorism I would guess. The problem is it is easy to be angry about attacks on the US - which is clearly terrifying - but easier to forget about US crimes. Where do we stop?

About Watchmen, he never portrayed what happened in NY as the right thing to do. In fact, The Black Freighter story seems to indicate the opposite. Read the book.

I don't think Holy Terror is any worse than those videos the Palestinian government show to their schoolchildren calling for the slaughter of all Jews. At least it's aimed squarely at adults who can distinguish between fact and fiction, and make their own mind up about whatever subtext that may lie within. But whatevs, Frank's always been Frank, and I don't think his work reaches a wide enough audience anymore to cause any real upset.

I own this book and I can say that I enjoyed it as a story; not as a piece of political propaganda. I can honestly say that I experienced guilty pleasure at seeing The Fixer completely slaughtering Al-Queda with ease and saving the world from another and much more deadly terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Yes, Frank's writing and art style has slowly slipped over the years, but Holy Terror was actually a fairly decent Miller comic for once. And I agree, Frank totally sounds piss-drunk! XD

As a fan of Frank Miller's "Sin City" works, the release of "Holy Terror" & his subsequent public comments, have left me cold. Few would deny the actions of the 9/11 terrorists were evil, but in 2011 Frank seems himself, a caricature: consumed by anger & fear, twisted by rage. In the end that is the same black path that led the 9/11 terrorists to their murderous conclusions. By his own definition, he knows nothing of Islam. With his influence, he should have made a better journey, for us all.
