  • I'm feelin' the music in this one, goes perfect with the tutorial.

  • i can't understand shit

  • i was woundering if you can give me some one on one with hwoarang please

  • im new to tekken or just fighting games in general, but wat do the numbers and the letters like "f" "b" "r" etc stand for?

  • @imnoobish - Forward, Back and Right (As in RFF Right Foot Forward)

  • Hopefully me and lord silver will make a new one for tag 2

  • @dotzwky I will use Hwoarang and Jin. It would be better with Baek, but I will stick with my jin. Will see how I go.

  • If your trying to make it to the top you have to be one of the best with Hwo. Hwoarang is my funnest character to play as because of his style variation and insane juggle potential. Lars and Asuka are my main and I am working on Zafina. Hwoarang was kind of down graded a bit since Tekken 5 but he has also picked up some cool techniques. He is the character that I want to be best with but I am always struggling to be.

  • Oh but by the way this is like the best tutorial of anything I have ever seen. Good job man XD. I might take a weekend to learn all this shit and just beat the shit out of people. That'd be nice.

  • Man the most shitty part of tekken is these combos. To be competitive, you have to, are you fucking kidding me (?) memorize juggle combos. That sounds fun bro but I got a job and go to school. I play against so many shit players who can only do juggle combos, and that's all they try and CAN do the entire game. I win about half the time. Pretty nice though, when my best juggle is like 4 hits. Whatever.

  • @Locrian4

juggling is gay as fuck, I agree and wish they'd bring back the almost juggle-free T4 gameplay. but really if you wanna be competitive, you gotta practice and say fuck you to school or work or whatever else. not only the case with tekken but with everything else ( sports, other video games etc. ) dedication is key to success.

  • @Ksharp1fan I agree with ya. I wanted to be a pro halo player for a while. The difference is, another player doens't have an ENORMOUS INSURMOUNTABLE ADVANTAGE because his loser ass spent a few weekends practicing button combinations that take not skill to execute, but rote memorization. No one has "aim combos" in FPS games. My DMR is as good as yours. It is skill and focus who determines who is better with it. There is some memorization, such as weapon locations, but FAAAR less.

  • @Ksharp1fan In fact I really with i had the time to memorize these combos (ps why the fuck do they not give you the button combos in practice mode. silly), but i just don't :-( I think watching Tekken is mezmorizing, however. Great game, but I think the juggling is too much at this point. I hope it is toned down.

  • @Locrian4

hey man I just read your comment youtube never told me I got a reply from you anyways yeah I'm starting to get fucking sick of juggling too. it's too cheap. I've met so many players who wouldn't stand a fucking chance against me if it weren't for juggles. they can't play mind games, they don't do any hard moves like electric uppercuts, all they do is just launch you every chance they get and do the same fucking combo over and over again. it's pissing me off!

  • @Ksharp1fan exactly

  • @Locrian4

I've been playing tekken ever since I was 3 years old and it's been a long and fun time going but if they don't remove this juggling shit in tekken 7 I will leave tekken for good.

  • @Ksharp1fan I know man it's such a shame. Hwoarang is sooooooooooo goddamn cool in so many ways, but I get sick of these scrubby ass players who memorize one juggle combo and just block, uppercut, block upper cut, and eventually, one out of 8 times, they will get through, and they win doing that. it's fucking pathetic. what is the point of having such an extensive moves list if the only useful one's are one's that get an opponent in the air. Oh well, still have had good times.

  • THANKS A LOT MATE! This helped me out a lot :D

  • @Nyquil13 : I'm a Hwoarang user for life too ^ ^

  • @l0rds1lv3r me 2!!! real life also!

  • @l0rds1lv3r u noob! i will demote you!

  • @t5drlord : I will demote you bitch!!!

  • hwo users for life!!!!!!

  • @Kastutan : please PM me your problem, I can help you. Since Dotz was teaching me a lot of things about hwoarang. I can answer most of the Hwoarang questions.

  • oMG , i can tell ur not only a master on hwoarang , but ur a master of tekken 6

  • I dont understand this FF and such do you have a guide for ps3

  • whooo don't like this AHH ???! THIS IS JUST FUCKING AMAZING ! U ROCK !

  • ...and also,do you have wall juggle moves on hwoarang when he is on RFF?...

  • oh sorry...it should be 1,1,2....

  • hi dotzwky...i want to learn hwoarang because i never used playing with him...the bad thing is...when im on the Left Flamingo and Right Flamingo...i get punish...can you give me a tip what will be the cool move after that?...im having a hard time playing against Kazuya and Devil jin when im on LFL/RFL they hit me with 1+1+2....

  • awesome vid!

  • 5 jin players dont like this

  • Hwoarang + Pac = GREATNESSOBADASSNESS

  • BEST RAPPER PLUS ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS IN THE BEST FIGHTING GAME ON THE BEST SYSTEM (PS3) THIS IS SUM MUTHA FUCKING BEST SHIT

  • Legend can be found at tekkenzaibatsu :)

  • hey this is sick 2 bad for me idk most da legends

  • Hwoarang needs a farther reaching df+2. And SR needs to give block stun. It's a damn kick for crying out loud!

: ) Hopefully Tag 2 fixes this. At least the latter.

  • All I can say is freakin amazing!

  • Innovative is what you do is to put 2 pac and explain to people how to make good combos

  • Hwo = Tekken's gangsta.

  • the video? its cool, the song? pricelesssssss

  • There was a guy that uses Hwoarang from Korea. He was putting up a strong match against Knee's Bryan. Very close match. I know Bryan and Bruce are probably the strongest character in tekken 6 but hey its 95% player man.

  • b3 (lunch) 2 33f~ 1, (__) 2 4 2 ff3 (B!) f34 3 4

on a (____) there, how to dash it? sometime when i use ff+2, he will use grab or something =/ can anyone help ?

  • @Hurtlezz233 . You have to reset your dash command input by using the neutral direction. ff * 242 not f[f]+2. Just release the forward button before pushing 2. By the way u can use b3 launch, b4, f3 3+4 2, ff3 (B!) f3+4 3~4 rfl b4 if you don't like dashing :p If you like to dash, you have very strong combo after jfsr, 3+4 3~4 , dash, 231, dash, 242, ff3 (B!) ;)

  • @shokanok woah ! 1st person that replied my question *tears of joy*!

im gonna try it 1st. i was really looking forward on this ..

i love dashing, that's the part of hit gap haha XD

  • u wouldnt happen to have the breakdowns for 360 would you? if so that would be the shit!!!

  • Some other tips for newbies ^^ :

LFF b+4 homing mid at 16f safe (-9f on block) leaves in RFF.

RFF ch d/f+4~f, RFS b+3 guaranteed ( was in 5.0 and Dr need testing in BR ).

    u/f+3+4,4 ws punisher at 14f.

LFS d/b+4 and LFS u/f+4 are nearly identical so opponent has to guess between low and mid (mid is a launcher and low enters in RFF mix-up with frame advantage on hit).

SSR (side step right) d/f+2 has some high crush properties.

JFSR in RFF a lot easier than LFF.

    That's all for now :)

  • Hmmm I thought 4,3 or 4,f+3 was 11f... might double check on this.

    Also some more tips :

2,f+3/2,f+4 are NCc which means second his guaranteed on counter. 2,f+3 for more safer option and 2,f+4 for a chunk of damage.

CH d/f+3,3, f+3~3 does also chunks.

CH RFF d/b+3,3 wall splats for a great deal of damage ( need to double check on this too )

CH LFF b+2 causes crumple stun for juggle etc.

RFF 2, b+4 NC and wall splats.

    Hope this helps :)

  • @Dasher848 - Yup, definitely right. Unfortunately i haven't been bothered to make corrections or additions to the video :( I've pretty much given up on hwoarang as a main. :(

  • @dotzwky Why give up? you look good with him ^_^ you know all his tracking, mix-ups and land JFSR nicely and smoothly and seems that you're really good with mind games too.

  • @dotzwky You quit Hwoarang? If you don't mind me asking, why?

  • @datriadx18 His fun to play probably against people who don't how to defend against him. Once someone figures his tricks. His not a great character. Just imagine people ducking every high and then juggling you to the wall. Then throwing a 50/50 mix up. Where if you guess wrong you get punished bad or forced into guessing again and if you guess right you get mediocre damage and a chance to throw out another unsafe move where other guy will probably juggle you again.

  • @dotzwky yeah Hwoarang the best

  • @datriadx18 I now use. Steve, Bob, Law, Byran and thinking of taking up Lars. Yeah i'm a tier whore.

  • @dotzwky

I'm new to this game, can you please inform me what those comands like SS3 or F1+F2 or RFF DB3 mean? Or that stuff with frames? I really don't get it. Maybe RFF = Right Front Flaminko? ... And is there a tekken 6 community where I can find more?

  • @Dasher : dude, don't give up on Hwoarang. What's wrong with him?

  • Perhaps I missed it in the vid but are you using an Arcade stick? Very informative and thorough vid, thank you.

  • @needsangermanagement Yeah i use a stick, everything done in the video is not easier/harder with pad though. Just what you're use to.

  • very good movie.by the way . after RFF CH b+3 talon sky rocken should connect.

  • Comment removed

  • this is not advanced? how much more can there be this stuff is tough lol

  • can you post the transcript that is used in the video?

  • LMAO nice name Dotzujin >.> trying to copy maddogjin xD nice vid btw

  • i just seem like i have no talent in hwarang...

  • @Stoner0Jesse Takes time and practice. You'll get there ^^

  • 2:58 move command? that's giving a free rfs 23 on block?

  • @abhinewton53 - RFF ff 4,3

  • @dotzwky ah thanks. so rfs 23 is always guaranteed? or if they try to duck it?

  • @abhinewton53 - The initial move is mid high. If they block both it creates a guard crush rff 2,3 or rff 2,4 is guaranteed. The 2nd one being a wall splat/knock down. I only ever use 2,3 if i feel they might try something after, then i try hit them with the just frame.

  • @dotzwky ah that clears it up. thanks.

  • Hey Demian. Great work man. what a work !

  • i learned something new from it.. thnx.. 5 star for this..

  • how do we make that kick with sparks?

  • @ac98521 f, n, d/f4. So tap foward then neutral then down/forward and right kick or 4 at the same time.

  • @dotzwky @fireguysith i just cant do it man! can i just use you combos with the

f, n, d,d/f4? :(( i always fail in my psp! so? care to tell me? i try to do what you said but ...aw..

  • @ac98521 You can do limited combos since it takes longer to recover and regain control from the standard sky rocket.

  • @ac98521 its all about timing... F,N,DF4 u have to hit "DF4" at the same time look up "EFSR"

  • Eck, top tier....underated yes!!!!

  • whats this song called :O

  • 2 Pac - All eyes on me.

  • can someone tell me what S W AK JY is ... what button is actually.. btw im a newbie bout this game... so dont get angry

  • This should be the staple of tekken guides. You get your information with the visual in such a nice flow. Very nice job 5/5 easily.

  • Wow this is a VERY cool video. May I ask what you used to edit the video?

  • I only used windows movie maker. Mostly just some comments/titles/credits and a background music.

  • TY for this guide. I just picked him up like a week ago coming from playing w/ Jin so I needed alot of help. I have already been warned that imma get my butt handed to me while learning him but Im up for it.....LOL

  • that's a good guide.

I'd like to say it's easier to do ff,1,2,4,2 during the JFSR, rff3~4 juggle instead of ff,n,2,4,2 because it eliminates the chance of ff+2 coming out. Plus it does 3 more points of damage.

  • db3 (hit) ws44 ss-able, right?

  • They need to side walk, i usually do db3 then d3. or some other mix ups as they learn it pretty quickly.

  • I have to say that I've mained Hwoarang since t3 and i learned some shit. Good song great guide I am curious about the rest of it.

  • Great stuff.

  • nice guide...i tried the LFS b4 mid and it is punishable by 1,2

  • That could be true, i ran it past a forum first an only found a few errors but guess i can fix that all up in the next version.

  • 5 Stars :)

  • Remember it's forward forward neutral. So I tap it and press the attack by itself in time it becomes easier

  • Really nice guide. But there is 1 thing giving me a hard time when it comes to Hwoarang's juggles. I noticed that I have to dash towards my opponent otherwise he will get out of my reach. And there is the problem. I try dash but it doesn't work. Let's look at the ps3 version: how to execute the dash? holding f down? double tapping f ?

I already tried to double tap f but when want to continue with uhm 2,4. I accidently execute ff 2.

  • Thanks! Thinking about maining Hwoarang and this made me advance so much faster! The string theory was great! Are you making more Hwoarang tips?

  • Yes part two is in the works.

  • Ah nice, looking forward to it!

  • how does this help?

  • Sorry, like i said previously its not for people who just started tekken, its for those who just started hwoarang or want to know how to fight against him.

  • For the pro one diffntly buffering is one thing all hwoarang players need, just 2 be sure your attacks come out how u wont them 2 bec i knw alot of people will have trouble with his jfsr into backlash run in the 2,4,2 and so on but if u hold the 4 after skyrocket the switch stance is sure to work.

  • Thanks for the kind words ^^. I definitely include that, problem is i've already got 2 hours of footage, editing it is going to be a bitch.

  • dude u dnt knw how much u helped me i knw alot of his stuff but just the df 3,3 then instant f3-3 was sick cheers for the video good to know there are sick hwoarang players who can do his jfsr without reverse stance cant wait for tipes from the pro one.

  • why dont u go found out what they mean then instead of throwing a fit @ PfaGGED IT IS UNIVERSIAL so every consol can releate to it, its not his fault u dont knw.

  • can you post the notation of the combos? I think it will be helpful to hwoarang newbies

  • wow just wow thanxxx

  • i think you should do like jkstan step by step launcher,moves..,bound,ender bound...your laucher its diffrnt than jkstan....good job dude..

  • Jkstan has notion for staple combos. This is a basic guide to hwoarang, not really tekken in general so maybe its probably better for those taking up hwoarang while already being good at say another character.

  • dude, the wall combo around 2:12 - 2:15 doesn't work on Med-small sized right?

  • Thats the staple really, doing the justframe ender works on everyone. even the ladies.

  • this is Awesome stuff dude. great vid

  • this guide is the shiznits.

    make an advanced one man.

    ;]

  • Nice guide.

  • Nice Hwoarang guide. It helped me a lot. Thanks!
