Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am just not so sure which is so "rape" Me or my video. OR if you just want to "rape" me! Is "rape" like "PHAT" now or "Dope". Anyway thank you for checking in on me and.... I can't wait to feel your sweet warm breath on my skin.
See my comment above sweetheart. I know how "Rape" you think I am since you left the comment once on my channel, and left it twice as a comment on my video. I tried to respond on your channel but you keep removing my comment. I'm sorry if I have hurt your feelings, sweetie.
Seems to me that regardless of who you are or what you do, some people have political views and some couldn't care less. Stating that one particular "group" is one way or another as far as potical views is ridiculous.
THANK U 4 educating Wednesday about the history and relevance on drag.. I did drag years ago and I'm not a fan of it today because of much of what Wednesday spoke about but DRAG HAS A PLACE, IT'S NOT ANYWHERE, AND PEOPLE NEED 2 LEARN WHAT IT DOES 4 OUR COMMUNITY
Good response Vicci...thank you. Drag shows are a form of art and entertainment. All the glitz and glamour is part of it. Just like any type of entertainment there is going to be bad and good. There are many professional shows such as at The Baton in Chicago. These performers are FAB! I am proud to say that I performed on stage doing drag show for many years, and loved every moment of it.
[cont 2] the redundancy of the style of glam that I am finding dreadful. The bigger than life make up and glitter and glitz is amazing, but it can be so much more~~
And for your ending comment, I have done better ;), that is why I was hoping more from "professionals".
I would do it again if I did not despise the mindset and attitude of most of the drag queens in my area "the south". I am sure there is a much better 'scene' in the north and more up-to-date areas.
NO NO... Thank you for responding...LOL You are so correct the above description of Divine! Totally agreed. I'll bet you did do a great job when you did performed! As far as the "professionals", I am not sure most people even really know the basic meaning of the word. Keep up what you are doing.... you make me sit up and take notice!
[cont] he still brought a lot of shock factor and self-expression through video. It may not be an ideal message, but there was still a stave of independence.
Copy cat syndrome seems to be everywhere--yes, I would just have to say that I was hoping/ having higher expectations from a community that does have the ability to express themselves far better than most other performers (a drag queen can get away with a great deal!)
I suppose my attack on Glam was misinterpreted, I suppose its really
I really enjoyed your video, made me laugh a bit when you caught my generalizations.
I will agree with all of your assessments, a lot of it is part of the performance, but after you've been exposed to more avant garde drag, your standards get a bit higher, I suppose.
I commend you and the other drag queens who do bring in the money and donate, I was aware of this but it slipped my mind. Whoops! Drag does bring in the most financial support.
love u!

Gee, viccilaine--
Okay, you're a genuine, talented "artiste" on the level of a Rosemary Harris or Lawrence Olivier.
