I love the Krokodil version best as just good rock, the Tim Rose version for emotion, but I like a version by Nova Local for garage-band enthusiasm. I'm brand new to youtube, and don't know how to upload anything. Any of you have the Nova Local track to upload?
I'm looking for a slower, heavier version, I'm going crazy to remember it! Haven't found it yet. It may have been Vanilla Fudge; along that vein, anyway. All the versions are good.
Brilliant, now I know I wasn't theonly one who thought "Human Beings" was Human Beans nothing to do with the song just when you're little and don't quite understand what "Big people" are saying, sounds like they're talkin' about human beans.
The Grateful Dead did a cover of this on their 1st record, 'The Golden Road To Unlimited Devotion'. It's a popular folk song (drawn from the blues) in Memphis. After all---we are 'the city of the birth od the blues... I was born in the city of light! LOL Thanks much.
the dead at cornell was the best I ever heard, and I was there

Very good version. Try Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart. That's a good one. And, thanks for posting this one.
