@TancoMartin He's a talent, for sure....In the top 10 lyricists of all time imo...weird that the world doesn't know him...He's easily the lyrical equal of Dylan, Cash, Haggard, Townes, Kiedis, Steve Earle...Springsteen....a storyteller par exellence....(Just saw 'em in Orlando a couple weeks ago, and it was awesome to see the line full of people in their 20s' talking about how it was their first Social D show..) Social D,to me, is one of the most underrated bands of all time.As Rodney used to say,"I get no respect."20 plus years together,(I know Mr. Ness is the ONLY original member left) The loss of his best friend.Social D does it their way,If you do not like it,watch American Idol.Every song is a short story,Mr. Ness is a classic storyteller through song.If you do not have his solo stuff....get it! It came out in the mid 90's.
