En la primera carrera del año de del campeonato del mundo de GTs, en la categoria de GT1 en Abu Dhabi, uno de los Nissan del equipo Sumo Power, al hacer el cambio de piloto, saliendo de boxes no termino de abrocharse el cinturon, y ademas causo un incidente con otro coche que venia saliendo de boxes. Se le hizo parar en la siguiente vuelta para comprobar el arnes. Es verdad, por un despiste se les puede olvidar, pero es fundamental para la seguridad. Imaginaos un vuelco en esa situacion...

A Loeb - Elena les penalizaron con 2 minutos en Cerdeña 2009 por hacer lo mismo que Sordo, en este caso fue el copi. De todos modos, con la extrema tensión de la carrera y del incidente, uno se puede equivocar. Qué fácil es juzgar a los demás!

He kept the seat belts off incase he couldn't make the pass and had to come out again quickly. Anyways after he passed the car he slowed his car to put the belts back on. Video's title is not true...STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS CAUSE YOU MAKE AN ASS OF YOURSELF.

Are you talking about something that happened after what we see in the video? Because in this video, he obviously didn't put the seat belts back on. All that can be seen in the video is that after he'd passed the car, he got up to speed again.

i dont think he is stupid, when you're at a rally, your stress levels makes you commit stupid things, surely not even mark remembered, as he is a very experienced codriver, both of them unattached their seat belts, and as a matter of fact, if he would've liked it, the SS could have been cancelled because maybe it is not safe to pass through that little gap or the car doesn't fit at all.

the gearbox makes the whining sound, the gears are straight cut and sometimes even dry. so the gears make alot of noise. also another thing that whines, but can mostly be heard outside the car, is the turbos blowoff valve. it releases the turbos pressure.

The wheezing sound is actually noise caused by the ignition system. Race cars use non-resistive wire to the spark plugs, which is more efficient but causes a storm of RF noise. Production cars don't have them because you would hear that noise over your AM/FM radio

Pues para mi la parte estupida es que descalifiquen a un piloto por esta estupidez....! si se refieren a sordo...se supone que si ya perdio tiempo por el coche accidentado, asique ese tramo ya no deberia valer y por lo tanto no ser descalificado....si no hubiera podido continuar no pasaba nada...pero de verdad fue descalificado del rally??

Hasta que el rally no se suspende los demas se tienen que joder si hay obstaculos en el camino. Las normas de seguridad estan para que los pilotos no se maten y aun asi a veces palman como le paso el copiloto de makko en el 2005, sordo no se abrocho el cinturon, de forma comprensible, porque estaba muy pendiente de recuperar el mayor tiempo posible despues de perder mucho tiempo pero no estamos hablando de que no ponga el intermitente despues de haberse salido de la carretera sino del cinturon

That's correct, you're not supposed to be on stage without your belts on. Of course there are unwritten exceptions such as if you jumped out of your car to look at damage and need to move your car another 3ft forward (so that it's out of the way of rally traffic) they wouldn't give you shit for not doing up your belts. But otherwise, belts, helmet and hans device need to be on when on stage... as far as I know anyway.

He is a pro and that is one of the first rules belts and helmets on when doing a stage at all time. the sport does not need a high profile death just because of some thing so simple. If you dont put your belt on in a WRC car on a stage you are playing with your life.

He's good, but annoying and a little arrogant.

Also, he pretty much gets all the breaks--life seems charmed. It's really annoying to watch him win repeatedly just because all his competitors crash out/get unlucky. Yeah, you can say there's no such thing as luck in racing... but try telling that to, say, Subaru...
