  • Let's stop beating around the bush. People who ace all of their English classes BEFORE starting law school are the ones who end up passing their states bar exam. Point being, law school and passing the bar have nothing to do with how well you verbally argue but rather how well you respond to hypothetical essay questions. JD - USC

  • Here is how Law School should be. After students graduate they will work directly for the Government. No more balogny. Setting them free causes corruption. Their also charging too much causing damage to the economy. Graduates will be located to Government Law Offices. They will be paid by the Government.

    A. Basics of Law.

    B. Courts and The System.

    C. State and Federal Law.

    D. International Law and Constitution.

  • I wish i took law but i'm into second year of Public services now though . Too Late.

  • You are kidding me, right? Americans admit people to higher education based on letter they write about themselves? No surprise they are so stupid.

  • @viharsarok Wrong. The personal statement is just a small aspect of the application process. What's most important to these institutions from their candidates are: Lsat score, GPA, prestige of the school you attended, and finally your personal statement and any details in your life that make you a dynamic and interesting candidate.

  • Hello

  • WOW, if anyone is qualified to give advice, it would be you.

  • Hello Mr. Meeker,

First of all a huge thanks to you. I have just come across this video and feel a little better because since this profession is so competitive, people misguide you and no one seems to give you the right information. I now can rely on someone for the information i need.

I am currently enrolled for the December 2010 LSAT and am told i cannot apply for the 2011 application with this late test. Can you please tell me if there is an alternative to this.

    Thanks.

  • Hello Mr Meeker,

I have just come across your videos and feel a little better for because i have been asking many people and no one seems to help. Since this profession is so competative, people misguide you so i am glad i've come across this.

My question is, i am enrolled for the December 2010 LSAT test and have come to know recently that i cannot apply for 2011 school year. Can you please tell me if there is an alternative to this. I am from Canada and am very lost.

    Thanks.

  • @manob86 why cant you apply in 2011? is it because you're only doing your lsat in dec 2010? because i am doing that and if that will prevent me from applying then i'm fucked.

  • @lizkel Taking the LSAT in Dec. 2010 shouldn't DQ you from law school in 2011; only from early decision at most if not all schools. Hope this helps.

  • Hi Derick, Thanks for the post it was very interesting.

I recently graduated from UNLV and am pursuing law school here in my town at UNLV. However I understand that I would need to apply to several in order to increase my chances. Im taking the Lsat in december and was wondering how your services could help someone like me. Please let me know

    Thank you

  • damn this is scaring me :o

  • I am a sophmore in undergrad, are there any majors that could prepare me for law school?

  • Physics, Math, Philosophy, and Economics have the best average LSAT scores. I understand that English and History majors do well in law school because of their background in reading and writing.

I would actually avoid the stereotypical Political Science, Criminal Justice, and "Pre-Law" majors as they typically don't do as well and you want to separate yourself from other applicants.

Also, you want a background that will provide a good job in case you change your mind or don't get in.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the info, I will be writing the LSAT later on.

  • Hello Mr. Meeker, thank you for this informative video!

I'm in my third year of undergraduate studies in a Social Science program. I'm from Canada, and I want to write the LSAT in June 2010. How much time should I spend preparing for the test?

    Thanks again!
