Why fuck the OC? Because you don't like it, or because people get familiar with certain songs trough it? If the latter's the case: Does it really matter how people get to know of a song? Doesn't it only matter that they do? I do kinda understand that true fans might think it sucks that people think of the OC before they think of the actual band, but I dunno; I sometimes do that too.

Oh, and, if the former is the case: you have every right to hate the show. ;)

I don't know why the other guy said it, but I don't like how Youth Group was featured on the OC either. All the stupid teenagers trying to be cool watch it, and I don't want it to be associated with them. It's such an overrated show, Youth Group's music deserves better. Almost every band I love has been on some lame show like The OC or Grey's Anatomy and I hate it.

I guess I understand n00bzn00.. People who like the YG through the OC will automatically associate the YG with the OC and will therefore like the OC through the YG, you know? The question is whether or not OC fans like the YG because they remind the fans of the OC. I <333 the OC, and I've come to know several bands through the show, and yes, they remind me of the OC when I listen to them, at least the songs that were featured on the show.

Ugh, I hate when that happens. I was just on the video for "Daisychains" and someone said they heard the song on One Tree Hill, and it worries me.
