Snap traps are relatively ineffective. Oil should be used with glue traps.

use oil to get it off, like cooking oil, its nice you saved him but use oil to take the glue off, far easier and quicker, less painful for the mouse too. If anyone is saying that mice are vermin, have a look at yourselves, we've inflicted so much damage to this earth, animals and each other, we are the vermin. Mice are only trying to survive, thats all, anyone who doesnt understand that must be pretty stupid and ignorant

im confused why were you using a glue trap if you were going to release it, use a unharmful one if you want to release it. even use a normal mouse trap that kills it instantly, just dont use a glue trap because the mouse has to wriggle and strain for six hours before it dies. i dont care what happens to the mouse just as long as it is not in my house, but these traps are torture. i agree with the people saying 'stomp on its head' coz atleast it will die quick then.

Ican't believe that an adult - a PARENT would actually release one of those filthy disease carrying vermin back into his neighbourhood. Perhaps if a pregnant female mouse got into his home and it's young went on to infest his house, spreading fleas, ticks and urinating and defecating on his food and cooking and eating areas and made some of his kids really ill, maybe then he would understand why rats and mice don't deserve to be allowed to exist near humans. Kill 'em all. Any way you can.

Don't even use those things!!! That animal must've been in a lot of pain. Glue traps are incredibly inhumane... some people just leave them stuck like that, all injured and scared.

BTW, use vegetable oil to loosen the glue next time. Or use a cage trap then release so the animal is unharmed.

one time i was throwing out garbage, and a mouse was trapped in the 55 gal steel barrel i emptied...it tried and tried to jump out, but couldn't. so it..so how did he get out? (this is totally true) it ran round and round until it gained the centripital (or cetrifugal) force enough to 'corkscrew up the wall and out of the top of the barrel to escape. that mouse was simply too smart to be allowed to survive. so i stomped on it.
