In a perfect world full of masculine real man you would need no goverment or state or laws at all. When you are a man of power you realize you dont just go and disrespect another mans property, body,or mind, you dont put other people under circumstances of poverty and not even having something to eat,and you dont fucking destroy the earth that we all need to survive, the end.In such a world you make rational loving rules as you go,.Until then a goverment is more rational even if it is immoral....
.....When you are a man of fucking power there is no need for rules, because you will find a way to handle differences in opinions without using force(between 2 man of power).Maybe such a world includes free market capitalism,or maybe it doesnt,i dont care
why is it "essential to understand the reality of the world?" TAKE THE BLUE PILL! Since I learned all this shit 3 years ago, my life has become more miserable than i ever thought it could. homeless, broke, hungry, dirty, fuck it! if this were the matrix, i'd be Cypher.
@libertyjane8 That's reality. Truth isn't free, though the price paid is small in comparison to what will have been gained when it is what we allow to govern us. More power to you. I admire your sacrifices. Never let the fact that most people look down upon you cause you to look down on yourself. You don't have to stay destitute. It takes incredible effort to gain strength within the status quo without feeding it, but it is possible.
I feel as if you are overly exaggerating the current system and trying to produce a completely emotional and almost irrational response to a labeled entity that you have deemed inherently evil.
The fact that you use words to deliberately excite responses of anger and hatred at the current system is proof of this. Even in a stateless society you would only have limited freedoms based on the aspect of what the people around you would allow you to do. Realistically, what are you advocating?
@N3Coalition What is being advocated, I believe, is not to hand the gun to the murderer. There are no promises in life. Security is only an illusion. Under anarchy, someone may come kill you and your family. But at least you didn't vote them into office.
I'm not a proponent of anarchy. I'm not sure statism is a lost cause. I am sure that our current state is.
@rfrantzt Government has never provided any benefit that could not be obtained through independant cooperation of people. You see, the illusion of freedom is broken, when you remember that you are only free to do, what the government allows you to do.
This video actually makes me more comfortable with the U.S. new defense authorization act. Artistic propaganda can drive a "less than adequately" educated person to violence.
of, then let's go back to the jungle ! what a retard, I can't stand you anarchist morons, if you believe in nothing, then why don't you go to Nothing by non-existing anymore and spare us you b-s? pffff
@stefbot To advocate nothing is absurd. The very act of not having a system will create a void that a system will fill. Once Stateless Societies reach an adequate population size and density and have a surplus of supplies so as to allow specialization, States have historically formed.
Your examples are of corrupt businesses and corporations as well, so who would regulate them? I don't see the State as the fundamental problem. I'm also not saying a Stateless Society couldn't function.
@stefbot I agree, but not a lot of people are ready to live in peace and harmony, very few of us and I can see you are one of them realise that violence is despicable, persuasion through reason and truth is more appropriate to use in interpersonal relations. therefore I suggest we organise in a communities first online and eventually a phyzichal community. I would rather live in the middle of Amazonian forest in a community where people are not livestock any more.
Inaccurate. The IR created a new elite, a middle class that didn't exist before. The old elite never accepted that and they still don't today. It wasn't a movement toward more slavery but greater freedom. Now, the old and new elite work together to rebuild on the old slave/master model and have been since the IR began. They didn't give us more freedom for productivity, the freedom resulted in greater productivity...the old elite couldn't give a frig about that.
@hagbard72 well why do elites exist? clearly at one point they were like us but they had ambition and were willing to put time and effort into succeedding unlike everyone else, who likes ot waste time. perhaps the elite deserve waht they''re getting as does everyone else.
A little truth mixed with a lot of BS. You ignore so much reality in attempting to promote anarchy as a philosophy. But just to keep it simple, I'll mention a couple. First is the fact that there are reasons people have owned other humans that have nothing to do with productivity. Sex, for example, has been one major one. And in many tribal customs, the man owns his wife and kids. And many primate pack instincts aren't that much different from that of canines. Are wolves statist?
You sound interesting for a few min but then it is like all your other video's or at least the ones I have seen. You never get to the point. Should I be free enough to just kill anyone that opposes me and take from everyone because I have the strongest position? You are not going anywhere, you just bring us back to slavery anyway. You just sound silly after a few min.
It's cute when young people, teenagers particularly, pick up anarchy as their rebellious philosophy which symbolizes their coming into society on their own. It's more disturbing when grown men, especially businessmen, extoll the virtues of anarchy. It is disturbing because a grown man should know better, so he must be either mentally stunted or predatory on the the gullible.
The only anarchy that works is a very small community. Otherwise we have states, and we are lucky ours is enlightened.
why is intellect so overpronounced ? If intellect is necessary to serve a state well in THEIR service, then isnt it obvious that they fear intellects ? Why does television provide so much stupidity if its the evil intellect and artists ? Because they are powerful and desireable for every party interested in power, just as is a stupified mob. You will find creative, intellectual and stupid people among all humans and folks. The systems use them all, otherwise they would reject power. Take it.
And, tell me, if religion is what you claim to be. Then why greatest prophets of statism hated religion so much? Why did Lenin and Stalin killed more than 70 million Orthodox Christian Russians if religion is their ally?
I can understand that your western experience and perspective shaped you into thinking like that. Before you generalize, try travelling and learning about other cultures. You will find whole Christianity that never had popes, crusades, inquisition and was killed by these.
No, absolutely not. The non-aggression principle is a rejection of the INITIATION of violence. Self-defence is completely justified under the Non-aggression principle.
It should be legal for anyone to do anything he wants, provided only that he not initiate (or threaten) violence against the person or legitimately owned property of another. Those who INITIATE or threaten violence on others should be held accountable to the effects of their actions.
i.e. The difference between rape and sex is whether or not an act of aggression. Rape is immoral because it is forced upon someone against their will.
Here's a great video of Stefans that explains why the Non-Aggression principle is important.
Anarchism it a dangerous myth, there are so many concepts of freedom and Morality as people out there, so has to govern the majority, the group, people without empathy is pure scum
There is no doubt that state and government are coercive forces, not perfect, prone to injustice and excess in many cases, why?, because we are animals, full of fears, egos, ambitions, ignorance, hates and loves...as ancient Greek explains, people give power to the state and obey laws as a way to defend the weak from the powerful ones(being the ¨powerful ones¨the common killers, rapists, thieves etc)
...its hard to understand...but its not too different from a wolf pack...
Wow...all of this makes so much sense. You've taken the unspoken ideas of the oppressed and made them known in such a clear way that even a child could understand. Bravo.
@Frasssaanarchy and instability, economic, social and or civil, hurts only the poor, innocent, weak, aged, and the working class (whose spending, is a show of confidence, as well as the source of economic liquidity - the rich don't spend anywhere near enough to strengthen economies - that is the domain of the rest of the 90% of the population) as well having a strong manufacturing base (and a SAVINGS based) economy (neither of which the US has anymore - which is why it was hit so hard in 2008).
Although I think sharia is shit, even shit has its benefits. The primary benefit of sharia is "no interest." sharia/Islamic economics has a different way to handle "interest" (and some would argue whats the difference between the two) but uses a usury fee instead. One main difference/benefit, is a Fee is a Fee and never changes, and is much less, where as variable interest (which everyone should know is one of the things that fueled the real estate crash of 2008, changes with economic conditions
The very thing these meme-masters claim that governments of civil societies are trying to do, i.e. enslave the masses, is exactly what these fascists in sheep's clothing are trying to do to open and free societies...think about it...who has to gain by creating disaffection and dissatisfaction with DEMOCRATIC governments...only fascists are dissatisfied with the collective compromise of democracy? actual and or practical Fascists, no matter how they disguise themselves.
Completely false...and so is the premise of this video...slavery was practiced right from the very beginning of human civilization...and started with the hunter gathers (native Americans, and other indigenous peoples, had slaves, before major contacts with advanced cultures, and those slaves were in danger of being cannibalized, before cultural advances in mass food production were developed by those primitive peoples...STOP BELIEVING IN THESE COUNTER CULTURAL FASCIST DECOY LIES...
If you have and anarchistic society. Let say i have a dispute with someone and i end up killing someone. What is there supposed to happen?
Is the family of the victime gonna take care of it and decide what would happen?
What if the guy has no family?
What if i kill a guy who actualy is innocent but he is very unpopular so i'd say it's in selfdefence and after all nobody will miss the annoying mr x. So nobody cares.
@turbofritz2 Those are all great questions, you might want to check out my free books on a voluntary society, available on my website. If you have other questions, please feel free to call into my Sunday show, 2 PM EST, every week, just drop by the website to be included. :)
@turbofritz2 "What is there supposed to happen?" This is assuming that our present day justice system is just. Which it is not, so even with the system today, we have people that have enough money that can and do buy themselves out of trouble. I have been involved in situations where the police arrest the victim for bogus reasons and let the crooked rich man hide under his rock of money.
@turbofritz2 "I'd say that it's the societies obligation to punish the criminal and bring justice to the victim" Agreed, yet remember a chunk of that society is inherently evil and power obsessed so its not like all of society is on the same side either. "Would it be up to the strongest guy with most of freinds to win?" Actually that is the way it is now, the strongest in this case are the richest or thoughs who are protected by the richest. There is no true justice today.
So well done. Stefan's timing is impeccable and he cherry picks' his targets to draw his conclusions thus sell his products. The Glen Beck. model. This is a an intelligent man who knows how to tear down a house not how to build one. I like his use of the Matrix. But artists, intellectuals and priests, well paid to hide the truth? Please! Try driving across town without traffic lights or stop signs and see why we as a people organize ourselves into regulations, many good, some not..
@russocomedy really? Glen Beck is a hegemony-demagoguer who says things that are so crazy that even the moderate, seasoned, nonsense-diet regulars (Xtians, bats on both wings) go "WHA--?" If Glen Beck has a series of empirical, philosophical, scientific lectures to support his claims, please point me to them; it means I owe him an apology and much more attention.
@russocomedy And his products are what, books he gives away for free on his website? If he's a salesman, then he's forgetting about the bottom line. I have seen what happens when traffic lights stop working. I don't mean they start blinking red. I mean when they shut off completely. People wait their turn as if they were at a stop sign. On the other side of the coin, some people run red lights and cause accidents. Government does not create order. People do.
@russocomedy After Hurricane Irene in New Jersey this past week, all the traffic lights in my surrounding three towns were out for almost 4 days. Regardless, I happily commuted as usual and need I tell you, where the traffic and holds-ups once were, magically, disappeared! It was like, poof, no more traffic, no more waiting. Makes ya think, "Gee, if the responsibility is put on the shoulders of the people, maybe people simply act in their own self-interest and are courteous." Self-organization!

Intriguing. Problem I have is with statements in the end. Philosophy does become what you call a "religion" .. Reason and science are not an ends to themselves and also are twisted into a false religion (evolution, global warming, modern nutrition and medicine, peak oil etc. ) -- all in the name of science and truth - yet all based in lies when analyzed objectively. I can see the concept of the global human farming, but it falls apart when you don't account for the real God. You missed.
F*ck, man, how can you say, that in ancient Egypt was slavery, that is just not true! Ancient Egypt was last of "western" civization that has a sense... 6000 years without conquer wars of prosperity...
I lived in the worst statist regime ever invented, which is communism. The thing is the communists had the same stance on religion as here. Of course, they turned it into action: arrested priests, killed, turned down churches.
No matter whether they were believers in the first place, the only survivors of reeducation prisons were the ones who discovered their faith.
That's why I think to attack one's religious convictions in the name of freeing him is to have a totalitarian mentality.
ok I just sat down with a big bowl of homemade macncheese and did not expect to see all these starving pix. :( why must reality constantly slap me in the face, i ask? Thank you for doing what you do stefbot. Question: What painting is at 3:10??
Seeing how the whole world is fucked, I feel guilty that I live in Europe where I'm more or less safe and comfortable. (compared to Africa, Middle East or Asia)
It's not that I have a lot or a great life, but compared to a lot of people, we have it too easy.
You're lucky living in Europe, US, Kanada or Australia. Because the rest of the world is being raped and robbed on a daily basis.
@Jaremus the raping and robbing is occurring in the US and Canada i can assure you, its just that the goyim in north america are more docile and perhaps dumber and need less persuasion to convince.
@Jaremus America.. the place where i'm lucky we don't call ppl goyims in public forums when trying to sound intelligent and know how to spell Canada... great video reguardless of the ppl who don't understand it. when will we stop the sheeple? idk.
What is called statism in this video is really class society. And every class society demands a state. So it's connected. You can't have classes without states.
@RV56 Hi! If I understood correctly, I took your comment to mean that because states & class societies are unavoidable within any form of capitalism (agreed), *all* forms are inherently bad. I wonder if such a strong position is justified. If we want to avoid a risk of instigating a swing into new, antithetical &equally extreme forms of social organization, shouldn’t the inquiry focus on trying improve what already ‘is’ (ie: the kinds & limits of capitalism/class/state)? Respects:)
@TagManpants I see your point, attempts at abolishing capitalism has not worked well before, so it is very important to learn from history. I do however believe that capitalism can be abolished in a good way, if not a perfect way. And yes, a good start is to limit the power of capital, though eventually it must be rid of all together. Capitalism has no inherit limits, neither does the state, it will swallow everything if left unchecked. And I don't believe we can be forever vigilant.
Great video. If this video had been made in Europe, it would probably be by marxist. But those kind of people that become marxists in say Sweden or Italy, they become anarcho-capitalists in the US.
Anarcho-capitalists have som nice ideas but unfortunatly they actually believe that there could be a capitalism that is not corporatism. But that is impossible. There can be no capitalism without a state, there can be no class society without a state.
Anarcho-capitalists have som nice ideas but unfortunatly they actually believe that there could be a capitalism that is not corporatism. But that is impossible
Libertarian here. Corporatism comes about only if the State helps them or they price collude.
@RV56 prove that capitalism can't exist without a state. the system of free markets existed before borders did. corporatism can't survive without the state because corporate power forms where corprate influence junctions with state enforcement. capitalism can always exist because the people are all that are required(currencies can and have been improvised, black markets are the direct example of that).
@Ravengaurd6 Without a state there can't be no such thing as private property. There can be no such thing as capitalist power over laborers. The moment the capitalists lose their tool of organized oppression (the state) the people would stop working for them and start working for themselves. Without violence, how can the bossed order the workers around? Without violence, what keeps the workers from producing for their own needs instead of for the needs of capital? Capitalism demands a state.
@RV56 My boss doesn't use violence to "order me around," he gives me goods in exchange for my services. Workers do produce resources for themselves, but it is distributed in proportion to their value to the joint exercise, if you are the soul member of your own enterprise nothing is to keep you from retaining 100% of your profit (and debt).
@fididle That is not true. As a worker I do not get the value of what I produce. I get what I have the power to demand. And that is in reality far from the value of my production. Workers produce all the value but we only get a small share of it in return. The rest of the value goes to the capitalist, who pay some of it to the bosses and their function is not to produce but to control and order the workers around.
@RV56 Nowhere in the basis and formation of a the social structures of voluntary exchange, contracting and labor is the arbitrary use of force required that is what the free market is, the sphere of voluntary association and economic interaction with the initiation of force. Remember, stateless does not mean lawless it is quite simply a removal of a monopoly on the use of force within a society. it's mostly just the constant process of decentralizing power. people can and do work without oppresion
@Ravengaurd6 As a communist I agree: The Leviathan is necessary only to those who would exploit others, to those who would use others as tools of their own ambition and their own enrichment. Free men and women can defend themselves against such people, rationally and with restraint, if they are allowed to do so. But how can you fight crime and greed in a society that exists only to further the interests of the criminals and the greedy?
@Ravengaurd6 I am 100% for free associations. But I also believe that a society can be completely transparent to its members and still exist and work. Relationships between people must not necessarily masquerade as prices of goods. Man's creative labour must not forever be a hostile power in opposition to him. He is entirely a social animal, and his sociality is in no need of mystification and coercion. That is some reasons why I don't believe in capitalism.
@RV56 If you want implement a non-coercive economic system that's fine by me. Capitalism isn't like Marxism, it isn't a full on philosophy of history and the world it quite literally means relative freedom for free entities within society to make exchange through communication,pricing,profits/non-profit and losses without the use of force. corporatism,Cronyism,State capitalism,Fascism are entities that are not necessarily endemic to capitalism but rather arise when capitalism is corrupted.
@RV56 You're welcome to your beliefs, but it would help if you didn't equivocate in your use of the word "capitalism"
You state anarcho-capitalists believe in capitalism. BUT, since they also believe in no state, you have presented a contradiction.
While free-market capitalism allows for a limited state role in protecting property rights, it does not REQUIRE it ( the amount needed may be zero ). That amount ( zero ) is the only amount I believe is possible, as do the anarcho-capitalists.
@jeffiek oh please, so quick to attack, so hard to take seriously. Just like RV56 answered you, i just pointed out to the simple conclusion that the statement "I don't believe in capitalism"... means 'no type of it'. If someone says "I don't like hamburgers", do you ask, "What kind of hamburgers don't you like?".... (probably, since you seem to like contrived argumentations..lol)
He got some good points. But seems to be stuck up with his own ideology. Individualism. Which wont work either. The problem is the human ego. Lack of education and proper nurturing. The most precious thing is science, technology, knowledge and we. We shouldn't be able to feed our egos in brutal ways. Like animal torture, slavery, or anything that leads to poverty that is more than necessary. Secular humanism and rationalization on a global scale is the cure. Luckily we seem to be progressing.
@SaerdnaOoOoo Ego hinders that progress though. Ego in power, ego in politics. Especially when religion is involved. I can see how total individualism only would hinder progress of humanity even more. How can it lead to anything but chaos? How would that model look? Nah. It doesn't work.
@hosebeatings definition of troll: One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument
@hosebeatings Oh look the troll is trying to look like he knows everything and posts negative comments, or in other words, he is a hater that fuels his low self esteem with posts on Youtube or other web pages that put down others. In laymen's terms an internet bully.... Is that a good enough definition? Or would you like to troll again like the verb form of the slang in which a person looks through others' comments for people to bully.

In order for us to move forward as a society, people need to learn these facts. Yes it is a criticism of the way things are, and also a cry out to you to help build a change. He doesn't propose the answer in this video, because the answer is in you and everybody else you know. If enough folks understand these facts, the solution will be obvious. Tell everyone you know and set them free!
From an evolutionary standpoint, amongst primates, the 'free' individual primate is a target of males who patrol group territory and kill or severely injure any 'free' lone individuals found who are not members of their group. So if Statism did not exist my guess is individual 'freedom' would still be an unpleasant prospect given the behavior of our primate ancestors.
...ok...how do we fix it. Is there an alternative. And if so what is it. In reality this is what humans naturally are. We will always be live stock, because we are animals. No matter what system we have in place, this will always be the result. Even if we have a revolution and all of this topples over, it will simply grow again from the ashes. Humanity was done the moment money was invented. Money makes the world go round. And thats the way it will always be.
Let's hate democracy! What did democracy give us? Eg. the very opportunity to sit here and talk about this and pretend to be a clever government accuser. Clearly, democracy is not perfect, but there is no better system made yet. Churchill said that.
@TonyBurrito "Let's hate democracy! What did democracy give us? Eg. the very opportunity to sit here and talk about this and pretend to be a clever government accuser".
It's not simply about just hating democracy per se... but THIS form of democracy as it is now, it seems ok to you? What is commonly held as democracy is absolutely NOT what prevails currently. Notice, that "opportunity" to sit here and talk - it's under attack by the day, like never before in developed countries. Democracy?
@TonyBurrito I wonder why we should need a system, in our true nature goodness is the foundation on which we stand and act, away from our true nature you'll find egoism and all the rest of it.
There is no need for a system but rather wisdom in the hearts of every human, so that the one and only real culture can grow. Flowering in goodness.
With regard to the comment about The Matrix, hey, it's a film, but still a good one. There's the suspension of disbelief aspect... But even so, how about suggesting how it, the script, could be tighter.
For example, how about adding on top of the humans being a power source, a special kind of neural-processing source as well.
That would seem to work better, even quite well, and reminds me of that Star Trek Enterprise episode where a spaceship repair-station does just that.
and whats so hard about having a truly free society? all you have to do is not be a dick
all we have to do is live. i help you out you help me out. I do what im interested in and you do what your interested in. we help eachother out when each is in need. we do not try to force someone to do something for us because we're too fucking lazy to do it ourselves. government is not used as a system of control, but just as a place for us to meet and discuss matters of importance
2.If we're not tasting it, we dont need good food. You can take whole pieces of plants and just grind them up into a mush and it will contain the nutrients necessary to keep you alive, think of dog food. its crude shitty nutrients, but nutrients nonetheless. And if your never moving, like when your attached to the matrix, you dont need nearly as much to keep you alive
3.Geothermal and nuclear energy has upkeep costs, thoughts come completely free, at all times, and have no waste to get rid of
That may be true for you Wankers! But here in America, we Fight! thats how we got away from that rock you live on!

N3Coalition 1 month ago
@N3Coalition What is being advocated, I believe, is not to hand the gun to the murderer. There are no promises in life. Security is only an illusion. Under anarchy, someone may come kill you and your family. But at least you didn't vote them into office.
I'm not a proponent of anarchy. I'm not sure statism is a lost cause. I am sure that our current state is.

N3Coalition 1 month ago
@stefbot I agree, but not a lot of people are ready to live in peace and harmony, very few of us and I can see you are one of them realise that violence is despicable, persuasion through reason and truth is more appropriate to use in interpersonal relations. therefore I suggest we organise in a communities first online and eventually a phyzichal community.

Take it.

Although I think sharia is shit, even shit has its benefits. One main difference/benefit, is a Fee is a Fee and never changes, and is much less, where as variable interest (which everyone should know is one of the things that fueled the real estate crash of 2008, changes with economic conditions

You missed.

What is called statism in this video is really class society. And every class society demands a state. So it's connected. You can't have classes without states.
RV56 9 months ago
Respects:)
TagManpants 9 months ago
@TagManpants I see your point, attempts at abolishing capitalism has not worked well before, so it is very important to learn from history. I do however believe that capitalism can be abolished in a good way, if not a perfect way. And yes, a good start is to limit the power of capital, though eventually it must be rid of all together. Capitalism has no inherit limits, neither does the state, it will swallow everything if left unchecked. And I don't believe we can be forever vigilant.
RV56 9 months ago
Great video. If this video had been made in Europe, it would probably be by marxist. But those kind of people that become marxists in say Sweden or Italy, they become anarcho-capitalists in the US.
Anarcho-capitalists have som nice ideas but unfortunatly they actually believe that there could be a capitalism that is not corporatism. But that is impossible. There can be no capitalism without a state, there can be no class society without a state.

Libertarian here. Corporatism comes about only if the State helps them or they price collude.
mooeythemooseman 9 months ago
@RV56 prove that capitalism can't exist without a state. the system of free markets existed before borders did. corporatism can't survive without the state because corporate power forms where corprate influence junctions with state enforcement. capitalism can always exist because the people are all that are required(currencies can and have been improvised, black markets are the direct example of that).
Ravengaurd6 7 months ago 13
@Ravengaurd6 Without a state there can't be no such thing as private property. There can be no such thing as capitalist power over laborers. The moment the capitalists lose their tool of organized oppression (the state) the people would stop working for them and start working for themselves. Without violence, how can the bossed order the workers around? Without violence, what keeps the workers from producing for their own needs instead of for the needs of capital? Capitalism demands a state.
RV56 3 months ago
@RV56 My boss doesn't use violence to "order me around," he gives me goods in exchange for my services. Workers do produce resources for themselves, but it is distributed in proportion to their value to the joint exercise, if you are the soul member of your own enterprise nothing is to keep you from retaining 100% of your profit (and debt).
fididle 3 months ago
@fididle That is not true. As a worker I do not get the value of what I produce. I get what I have the power to demand. And that is in reality far from the value of my production. Workers produce all the value but we only get a small share of it in return. The rest of the value goes to the capitalist, who pay some of it to the bosses and their function is not to produce but to control and order the workers around.
RV56 3 months ago
@RV56 Nowhere in the basis and formation of a the social structures of voluntary exchange, contracting and labor is the arbitrary use of force required that is what the free market is, the sphere of voluntary association and economic interaction with the initiation of force. Remember, stateless does not mean lawless it is quite simply a removal of a monopoly on the use of force within a society. it's mostly just the constant process of decentralizing power. people can and do work without oppresion
Ravengaurd6 3 months ago
@Ravengaurd6 As a communist I agree: The Leviathan is necessary only to those who would exploit others, to those who would use others as tools of their own ambition and their own enrichment. Free men and women can defend themselves against such people, rationally and with restraint, if they are allowed to do so. But how can you fight crime and greed in a society that exists only to further the interests of the criminals and the greedy?
RV56 3 months ago
@RV56 you are not an intellectual. Please stop pretending.
SynesthesianDreamer 2 months ago
@Ravengaurd6 I am 100% for free associations. But I also believe that a society can be completely transparent to its members and still exist and work. Relationships between people must not necessarily masquerade as prices of goods. Man's creative labour must not forever be a hostile power in opposition to him. He is entirely a social animal, and his sociality is in no need of mystification and coercion. That is some reasons why I don't believe in capitalism.
RV56 3 months ago
@RV56 If you want implement a non-coercive economic system that's fine by me. Capitalism isn't like Marxism, it isn't a full on philosophy of history and the world it quite literally means relative freedom for free entities within society to make exchange through communication,pricing,profits/non-profit and losses without the use of force. corporatism,Cronyism,State capitalism,Fascism are entities that are not necessarily endemic to capitalism but rather arise when capitalism is corrupted.

@jeffiek I don't believe in any type of capitalism, because...
1. I don't believe that production should be directed towards profit.
2. I don't believe that social power should be in private hands.
RV56 3 months ago
@RV56 You're welcome to your beliefs, but it would help if you didn't equivocate in your use of the word "capitalism"
You state anarcho-capitalists believe in capitalism. BUT, since they also believe in no state, you have presented a contradiction.
While free-market capitalism allows for a limited state role in protecting property rights, it does not REQUIRE it ( the amount needed may be zero ). That amount ( zero ) is the only amount I believe is possible, as do the anarcho-capitalists.
jeffiek 3 months ago
@jeffiek simple logic dictates that unless the type is specified, it means ALL of it. Which is the case here, NO type of capitalism is acceptable.

The most precious thing is science, technology, knowledge and we. We shouldn't be able to feed our egos in brutal ways. @rockoutmichigan Do you even know what a troll is?
hosebeatings 4 months ago

@TonyBurrito agreed. exactly what i commented yesterday on another video of him "The Truth About Voting"
i think some facts are wrong in this one here. despite that, some charts/graphics are odd and what he says meanwhile o.O
and indeed all i hear of him is accusing, instead of saying how to do it better.
especially against the school system he is vociferating so damn hard.
there are many reasonable arguments too. but on the other hand, it's also pretty one-sided

I love this video, truth is all the freedom we're going to get in this lifetime!

@AlternateArtisan "Greeeat, complain about society as a whole yet offer no practical solutions. how is That helpful."
Well perhaps it alerts some people who are not aware - that's helpful.
Maybe you are aware... so as to solutions, how about you use your brain for yourself, and think of some? You can't find ALL the answers online.

and whats so hard about having a truly free society? all you have to do is not be a dick
all we have to do is live. i help you out you help me out. I do what im interested in and you do what your interested in. we help eachother out when each is in need. we do not try to force someone to do something for us because we're too fucking lazy to do it ourselves. government is not used as a system of control, but just as a place for us to meet and discuss matters of importance
simple as that

2.If we're not tasting it, we dont need good food. You can take whole pieces of plants and just grind them up into a mush and it will contain the nutrients necessary to keep you alive, think of dog food. its crude shitty nutrients, but nutrients nonetheless. And if your never moving, like when your attached to the matrix, you dont need nearly as much to keep you alive
3.Geothermal and nuclear energy has upkeep costs, thoughts come completely free, at all times, and have no waste to get rid of
