Man that sounds So sick, Im looking to run true Duals on my 5.9 Grand cherokee, where did you get the power tips and how did you run the exhaust under for under the Jeep.
Thanks to you I got me a single medium 20inch powerstick chambered exhaust a couple of months ago for my 4.0 (video on my page) and people think its a V8 but now I'm wanting to do the true dual exhaust so what inch powersticks and exhaust tips did you go with.
So, Hey. I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 4.7 V8. And I just want to say that your jeep looks amazing. Especially with the SRT-8 wheels. I also noticed that you have HID fog lights, with the stock, fog lights socket. I have 12k HID in my headlights. And plain old white fog lights. I was wondering if you could help me out with the fog lights or direct me towards the website you got them from.
So is that exhaust straight from the headers to the powersticks to the tips? Or are there cats? I'm curious because I just ordered a pair of the 20" powersticks for my 4.7 Limited. Also where did you get your SRT8 rims? I can't find a set for less then $1700.
@hb1213 that is a badass soundin 4.7 you have, for sure... that 1st gear in those 545s rly makes a difference, too... i did the quad tails in my ZJ... i have stock mani's, stock Y, and 2.5 inch str8 to flowmaster on my 5.2... i rly didnt think it was gonna work, so i left it all, kinda boogered, but right now its gettin restored, and soon, i'll have one of a very few ZJs with true duals, exiting in the rear. it'll look stock like the pass side did, but on both sides..
@carbonm306 5.9s are great Jeeps. They're pushrod V8s though whereas this is a single overhead cam V8. They sound different. The 5.9 has a old true muscle car sound whereas the SOHC v8s have a smoother sound. Either way you'll like it
Nice overland man. So what did you do to your pipes and I'm curious what the wheel make and size is and the tire make and size is... If you don't mind me asking.
The entire exhaust system was hacked off, and a one of, custom system was made/built for it. Wheels are OEM Alcoa forger SRT8 wheels, 20x9 all around on a 275/45/20 tire.
I really really really really really want those rims on my jeep :)). How much did you spend on the rims and tires, and did you have to buy spacers? If you don't mind me asking! Beautiful jeep man, I love it
Hey is it really load inside the cab while driving down the highway or do it every screw with your shifting sensor and rpms ever since you installed the exhaust? Also, do have a performance chip installed and how much did it cost you to get the exhaust installed?

Man...Next year i will buy my cherkee, and yours will be my inspiration.The bad thing here in brazil, is the cost of gasoline and the price of grand cherokee is a little high.
im gona get my twit card so i can start makin more money than im makin now all because i want a wj jeep dont tell my girl friend tha tho lolt. i Fen love the way it sounds really aggressive!
Do you know that your car is the most beautyful thing what i've ever seen... And listen that sound... it's so crazy!! Best Jeep video in Youtube! Really!!
This is no-doubt, no-bs one of the FINEST built WJ's I have ever had the good fortune to lay eyes upon. Thank you for being so kind as to allow us to share this with you. Beautiful!
dude you have to post a video of how you ran the exhaust. ive been looking for a dual exhaust that has a side dump. when i listened to your engine i cant stop smiling. please help me out and post a vid so i can do an exhaust like yours.
This is the best sounding jeep i ever heard before. I have a 04 jeep grand cherokee limited and i have flowmaster super 44. Now im playing to get powersticks.
Whats size tips do you have and where did u get them from?
Man, that thing sounds and looks bloody amazing. Seriously nice. I've got an '03 Overland. Looking to do the same with the globes you have. Was that an easy job? Wheels look great and that sound, fark me. Awesome. I don't yet know if it's legal to have the pipes exit on the side like that here in Australia. If you don't mind saying, roughly how much did the exhaust job cost? Any trouble with the police on drive by noise? Congrats on a very nice ride.
Yeah...the HID's are easy...plug and play. The wheels were amazing. Best 20" wheels for a Jeep ever, so far! Glad you like the sound!! :)
Exhaust job, exactly like it was, $550 USD. I never had trouble with the police. It was really loud tho, and I know some states and countries have noise pollution laws.
@hb1213 Design and contract that at a fair price for a 5.9 zj, then tell me how much it costs, I will then buy a camera and advertise your kits :) agreeable?
It was the High Output version, which had a lot of unique features to it, including better cams and a higher flowing intake mani. Only engine mod was a K&N FIPK. The rest was exhaust. I had them cut the the Y, and do 2 pipes back from the pre cats, 2 powersticks, an H-Pipe before the sticks, and 2 tail pipes out thru quad tips. The Jeep had 2 medium PowerSticks on it.
Awesome Jeep man! I'm going to be getting a 2004 Overland soon and I want to put Flowmasters on it. However, after looking up Powersticks, I might change my mind. Quick question...what was louder your Flowmaster Super 40s or the Powersticks? And which one overall sounds the best to you? Thanks
Overland's FTW! Although, I'm not a big far of the 04's because there are wayyy too much chrome on them. If you want a really raw sound, pretty much straight pipes with the uglyness, then this is for you. If you want it a little smoother, but still amazing sounding, and still dound, then I'd a Super 40. The Super 40 sounds great on the 4.7 too. I have a video if you want to check it out thats all Super 40.
@hb1213 Thanks for the input. It's either a Flowmaster Super 44 or these Powersticks. I have Flowmasters on my GTO and I love the loud rumble I get. Such a nice sound. So I guess I'm a Flowmaster guy, but these Powersticks just sound badass on the 4.7. Tough choice! Thanks again for your input and I like the wheels.
@hb1213 Hey man, I finally got the 04 Overland. Just had a Flowmaster super 10 put on. More of a raw sound than a rumble. I like it. I think after running this set-up for a while I might change over to true duals since this sounds badass. Can't run the pipes out the back though due to space issues with the gas tank. Might have to run them similar to your set-up. Stang owners have odd looks on their face when they hear my truck lol. Never would they expect a 6.7 0-60 time for a 2004 Jeep
Sounds awesome. You got the 4.7? True duals? You add headers or upgrade cats? Where did you get the power sticks? I got an 06 4.7 was debating on upgrading the exhaust just debating what to do. This seems like the best

the best JGC I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!! BAD ASS BRO!!! im looking to do a side exit on my exhaust too......just ordered my powersticks with 3" exhaust.........got any pics of how you ran it and your mounting locations for the hanger!?
Thanks for the quick reply brotha, fletch14519@yahoo.com is my email. Thanks alot man. My exhaust comes in this week.....got the 3" classic chambered power stick
The Eibach's drop a stock Grand Cherokee 1" up front, and 1.3" in the back, to give it that nice level look. But you'll get a little more drop all around after the springs settle. Eibach gives the Jeep the most even drop. So I recommend them.
@hb1213 hahah im jus kiddin.. why'd u sell urs?! And im sellin mine cuz i want a new car nd im honestly ashamed to say it but,,,im kinda tired of it :( i wanna look at srt8 cherokees!!!
I was pretty much in the same boat as you. Been driving a SUV since I've been driving, and always wanted a coupe. The SRT8's are sexy. Super fast and seats are crazy comfortable!
also, did you lower the jeep at all? it sits really well on the wheels. mine seems like there is too much space between the tires and the fenders. it almost looks like an off road suspension with 20" chrome wheels lol.
Yeah, the Jeep was lowered on Eibach's. Gave it a perfectly even drop all around. Had an even fender gap all around. If you're going to run 20's on a WJ, a drop is a must if you don't want to look like that thing your describing! LOL...
how much of a drop? 1"? 1 1/2"? any kit you would specifically recommend? i really wish i could get my hands on some of those rock rails. i think it looks great with the wheels. helps eliminate the "stick out" look because of the fenders curving in so much.
what is the thing under the doors and above the exhaust called? where can i get it? i got my new wheels on today and i think they stick out a bit much.
They are called rock rails. The came as standard equipment on Overlands. 02 and up Limited can run them, because the already have the holes drilled in the frame. Earlier years have to have them drilled. They are rare, and can't be bought anywhere, if you want the real thing. What kind of wheels did you get, and what's the offset?
dude ur jeep sounds soo sick with this setup, i have the same but its the limited, stil HO though. iw as about to cut off teh exhaust and weld on 3" piping but u changed my mind. i read every comment on here and understand what u have done, can u give me a picture of your under carrige or a diagram, id greatly appreciat it, im curious to how the shop fab'd everythign up
nice jeep, i have the same one 2002 overland, same color, same wheels, well i have 20x 10 in the back, im using a small spacer and it works perfect,and 20x9 in front. it looks great. i live in california. contact me to share pictures with you.
Yeah...the 20x10's in the back would look amazing, but I didn't wanna run a spacer, and still wanted to be able to rotate my tires. And the 20x9's have the perfect offset for all 4 corners.
Hi Man, Wat a great sound. Wat length powersticks have you fitted. I am wanting to make my Jeep sound the same. I live in Australia and Powersticks are as rare as rockinghorse shit over here.
Okay, so I always seem to come back to this video. I am impressed EVERY TIME. Major props!

hb1213 1 year ago
what did you use to make this a true dual?
dean01377 1 year ago
@dean01377
2 pipes from the pre cats back, an H-pipe, 2 powersticks, and 2 tips.
hb1213 1 year ago
how was take take off with the sticks, compared to the flowmaster , was it slower at takeoff with the powersticks
dean01377 1 year ago
@dean01377
It was wayyy louder! LOL! Much more of a raw sound.
hb1213 1 year ago
wow this thing sound amazing, i could only immagine what it would sound like with no exhaust!
MrCalamity22 1 year ago
@MrCalamity22
Kinda ugly...I tired staights. This is as close to straights you can get without the negative sounds of them.
hb1213 1 year ago
how far did u lower it?
MrJebiga85 1 year ago
@MrJebiga85
The Eibach's drop a stock Grand Cherokee 1" up front, and 1.3" in the back, to give it that nice level look. But you'll get a little more drop all around after the springs settle. Eibach gives the Jeep the most even drop. So I recommend them.

hahaha your stealing all the attention from my car!!! >:0 im selling my overland soon :/
kabobbobak92 1 year ago
@kabobbobak92
LOL...sorry...didn't mean to. I don't have my Overland either anymore. Why are you getting rid of yours?
hb1213 1 year ago
@hb1213 hahah im jus kiddin.. why'd u sell urs?! And im sellin mine cuz i want a new car nd im honestly ashamed to say it but,,,im kinda tired of it :( i wanna look at srt8 cherokees!!!
kabobbobak92 1 year ago
@kabobbobak92
I was pretty much in the same boat as you. Been driving a SUV since I've been driving, and always wanted a coupe. The SRT8's are sexy. Super fast and seats are crazy comfortable!
hb1213 1 year ago
@hb1213 i havent yet tested the srt8's yet.. haha how crazy would it be if i put those powersticks on them?!? haha and what u driving now??
kabobbobak92 1 year ago
also, did you lower the jeep at all? it sits really well on the wheels. mine seems like there is too much space between the tires and the fenders. it almost looks like an off road suspension with 20" chrome wheels lol.
MrJebiga85 1 year ago
@MrJebiga85
Yeah, the Jeep was lowered on Eibach's. Gave it a perfectly even drop all around. Had an even fender gap all around. If you're going to run 20's on a WJ, a drop is a must if you don't want to look like that thing your describing! LOL...
hb1213 1 year ago
@hb1213
how much of a drop? 1"? 1 1/2"? any kit you would specifically recommend? i really wish i could get my hands on some of those rock rails. i think it looks great with the wheels. helps eliminate the "stick out" look because of the fenders curving in so much.
MrJebiga85 1 year ago
what is the thing under the doors and above the exhaust called? where can i get it? i got my new wheels on today and i think they stick out a bit much.
MrJebiga85 1 year ago
@MrJebiga85
They are called rock rails. The came as standard equipment on Overlands. 02 and up Limited can run them, because the already have the holes drilled in the frame. Earlier years have to have them drilled. They are rare, and can't be bought anywhere, if you want the real thing. What kind of wheels did you get, and what's the offset?
hb1213 1 year ago
what are those things called on the side? under the door , above the exhaust.
MrJebiga85 1 year ago
Where did you buy the powersticks? How much was the muffler? Did you buy one muffler and had a splitter put in or buy two?

hb1213 1 year ago
nice jeep, i have the same one 2002 overland, same color, same wheels, well i have 20x 10 in the back, im using a small spacer and it works perfect,and 20x9 in front. it looks great. i live in california. contact me to share pictures with you.
patiski 1 year ago
Yeah...the 20x10's in the back would look amazing, but I didn't wanna run a spacer, and still wanted to be able to rotate my tires. And the 20x9's have the perfect offset for all 4 corners.
