Arlen Roth is THE MAN, in my humble opinion.

I had the honor of meeting him in the late seventies. I traveled to New York to take a week's worth of lessons from him. He treated me so well and was to giving of his knowledge. I saw him again in Los Angeles and again was just taken by his awesome talent, great spirit, and just downright goodness. My wife and I were just heartbroken at his tragedy. I love the guy.

Arlen's a really great guitarist - I took lessoons with him in the mid-70's. He's definitely the biggest influence on my style - he has the only electric guitar I have ever played that "played itsel" - you know, when it feels and sounds like butter and you can't play a bad note - I think it's a 51 Blond Tele - looks just like this one. Arlen had an unbelieveable tragedy occur - I won't go into it - I can't imagine it happening. He did not deserve what happened, to say the least.

He is really good isn't he? wonder why we don't hear more of him - I guess because he's a real musician like Danny and Roy.
