so if i was to buy the basic 15 inch macbook pro from the apple site would that be good for gaming not that i want it specifically for gaming i was just wondering before i bought it if it could handle one high end game.
@steamkidsdad If you want a high end gaming machine get a maxed out iMac or consider a desktop PC. There is no laptop on the market that can compare to a desktop.
@ProtectJewsEvilArabs you are paying for a quality product. Pluss The name - Apple . If Hp made this laptop it would probably be around £600 to £800 not £1500+ - Apple Is A Very Wealthy Brand name!
Man Really good video, u went straight to the point, helped me doing my decision, and really good video. Actually the best review about the MBP that i saw until now
@anytemplate I do not use hard drive, it is an old technology and slow, I use SSD, which is very fast and does not produce any heat as well as any noise.

I just bought the 2.3ghz high res anti-glare, the screen is AWESOME! I also have edited a few pictures and it is a breeze. Thats just for all of you considering...
@planerhys121 To mw, the anti-glare gives the screen depth. I would take it over glossy personally, but if you want to see the difference between the two yourself, go to your local apple store.
@BionicSammich No. That is the one after-market piece of hardware you can install without voiding the warranty. I asked this exact question to an employee the other day, so no, it does not.
Is the 15 inch too big to be portable. I'm just wondering because I like the fact it's got a bigger screen better graphics etc. but I'm just wondering if all this comes at a cost of it's portability.
@limetang I agree. I hope that Apple and Intel but their brains together and figure out that people want more screen real estate. The Alien Ware Laptops feature FULL 1080 resolution. The only thing that is stopping me from buying Alien Ware (the one reason that stands above the other reasons) is due to the fact that I'm a media based individual. I love film and I need a mac. @limetang NO. i personally have a 15 inch that i use for education and business. I carry mine with me all the time: on trips, to work/class, etc, and i never have found its size inhibiting portability. the 17 inch, on the other hand, does seem to large for regular portability, in my opinion.
quick question, im going to make games for my study, and i was wondering should i buy the 2.2 version or the 2.0 ghz version? just a question. i hope i will hear from you soon!!
@WazzzaaaBroadcasting If I were you, opt for the Alien Ware laptops/desktop. Sure, it's not a mac, but they are better for games. I just got a 15 in MacBook pro with the 256 mb graphic card, is this fine for just watching movies, basic video editing, and playing application games from the app store?
@TheGonzales2012 I had the same question and i asked an expert from the apple store. They said the 256mb card is more than enough for that. actually i asked 2 experts and they said the same exact thing. I ended up getting the 15" with the 256mb graphics card with the high res anti glare display. It will be here next week and im really excited lol :)
@stealthmonkey13 the 1gb gpu would be a decent card for gaming but honestly if you want a gaming laptop go pc very few of the good games are not on mac.
I'm thinking of buying the 15 inch MBP with the 2.2 GHz quad core processor and would like to know if it would work well as a MAIN and only computer? I am also suggesting upgrading the ram to 8GB. Feedback would be hugely appreciated, thank you.
@TheKiddo55 I like how you replied in what, 12 minutes? lol, looks like someone checks the inbox quite often. Anyways. I was serious about it, haven't seen one single comment that actually talks about the video in a long time. but if you wanna be an ass. feel free to. I couldn't care less. :)

@electromagnetshit The SSD are a lot quicker in sorting files i believe. If you got the cash to get one it'll considerably speed up the PC. They are quicker in file-sorting, they're don't require as much power as HDD's. In general they're just very fast.

@ShutUpAndListen79 what is so inferior about apple products?
sdblucy10 10 months ago
@sdblucy10 I decided to ignore the negative comments and bought 15inch version with i7 2.2Gz Quad-core CPU and better GPU

I had ordered one but I thought Forget it I'm being told too many negative things so I've cancelled my order. It seems Apple charge to much for inferior quality products and hardware. I don't want to spend all that money on something everyone's telling me is crap.
