One of Duke Ellingtons best recordings. The recording is from ca. 1930 (actually his very best period) and the matrix was imported by Syrena-Electro in 1937. The record compagnies continued releasing older recordings with Ellington and Armstrong during 1930-40-50's on 78 rpm. It's the very first time I have seen Duke Ellington on Syrena-Electro.
