nice car and exhaust man. is that the flowmaster american thunder kit? im thinking of getting the same setup. how much approx did it cost for total install and parts? is there any drone? hows the cabin noise at highway speeds?

No real drone...the cabin noisee is not bad at highway speeds. its what you would expect having exhausts. I paid three hundred for the american thunder mufflers and 180 for install including the h-pipe.

How do you get the other exhaust side to come out through on your mustang? Or do you have to go buy a rear replacement bumper for a GT to get the dual exhaust on your V6 mustang?

You can cut out the bumper the same way it is on the other side.

Do you get any drone or vibration noise in the cabin from having an h-pipe? I currently have an x-pipe installed and have a lot of cabin noise. I'm thinking of switching to an h-pipe instead.

There is some noise as you know its almost impossible to have none but its nothing unbearable. A little music or chit chat and you forget the noise is there.

Exactly, I knew when I was getting into it that the drone or whatever was going to be there and I love it all. I wouldnt change a thing. If there isnt rumble coming out of American cars something isnt right.

It was about 280 for the mufflers and 180 for the piping and install.

How did you modify the bumper cover for the dual exhaust? Cut out the other opening or install a custom cover? Awesome sound. Thanks.

I took a template and traced the cutout on one side. I measured the same distance and used a markerto make the same cutout shape. I then used a dremmel and made the opening.

Yo thats wicked. I had a custom x pipe with my American Thunder Flowmasters. The raspy sound doesnt exsist on mine. Got real lucky and bought a silver gt bumper for mine.

im plannin to get duals on my sixer, but im not sure if the cutout would look nice. Did you get a cutout or a GT bumperr?

I cut my bumper. There is absolutely no need to get a GT bumper have it painted and all the hassle. Just make sure you measure well and cut with a dremel. It looks perfectly fine, and heck if you dont like it, then you could go out and by the gt bumper.

i was just woundering if you had to have the bumper modified cus it look like theres 2 indents for both mufflers, but the v6 comes stock with one... also how much did that cost you total to have it done. Its pretty sweet! i want a mustang when im older

Its just a cut out. You can use a dremmel to cut it or just buy a GT bumper. It fits perfectly.

Its a custom h. I didnt know what an o/r h-pipe sounded like, thought it might be raspy, so I chose the custom one.

nah..an x pipe would give a more high pitched raspy sound. h pipes usually give a more throatier tone.
