I am building a gokart with irs but I also want chain drive.....Could you message me with a parts list for the chain driven IRS rear axle?? PLEASE!!!!
@M3TurboE46 sorry i didn't build this originally so i don't know exactly where the parts came from. looks to be drivetrain parts sourced from a small rwd car and whatever else was available at the time. pretty crude setup but it works.
@Lawso221 nope, it uses a chain drive solid mounted between two bearings, then some gearbox output shafts and driveshaft front yolks as sliding drive shafts like an IRS diff with CV's. managed to break one of the shafts getting airborne off the hill heh. is a blast to drive! especially now we've sorted the steering and gear shifter and a couple engine issues.
