Cavi Cape's music, the Chakroads (teleporting swirly sphere things that Bowser can find), and the jagged style text box that comes up when Chakron asks if you wanna travel reminds me of Wind Waker's style.

(Doesn't the ball Bowser uses look like the color-changing swirly sphere that you sometimes get when you kill an enemy in Wind Waker?)
