  • Excellent tip & very nice of you to share with the rest of us!

  • wow, nicely done. just tried it out, easy as... thanks for the tip sir!

  • good idea

  • So great! Now I don't have to worry about mounting tires on my 75' cb360! Saved me money thanks! I wonder if the bag is a slightly thicker if it would pull out a bit easier? Maybe?

  • Bloody hell mate that is fantstic, got to try this methom, another plus you dont nick the tube with the tyre lever, thanks and faving this one ;-)

  • great vid

  • ya mean fitting tire without irons

  • since im looking to start building a model T, ill definitely have to remember this

  • Great idea, would it be any easier if you sprayed the bag or tyre with Windex or liguid soap? Thanks for sharing

  • Wow, i wish i knew about this method when i swapped the tyres on my old road bike. The headache of it all, the swearing, the holding back from throwing stuff, all gone!

  • Wow, thanks for this video. That was pretty ingenious!!!

  • Ok, i just tried using a bag to help me with my sport bike tire! It went on so fast that I though tI did something wrong! no cussing, no throwing Irons, no scraped knuckles! only had to use the iron at the last point of the tire going over the bead, and it put BOTH beads over at the same time, instead of fighting them separate! THANKS!

  • I just tried it on a worst case senario 30 year old "new " tyre and it needed the usual more levers that hands and a fare amount of sweat. I will try again though when I use a NEW tyre next time.

  • Bummer. Have just changed a tire on my RD400. I might take it off again to see if that works on it

  • VERY NCE THANKS FOR SHARING

  • Good job, I'll be giving that trick a go.

  • Isnt that the way, when you take a video something goes slightly wrong.

  • It took you longer to remove the bag than to fit the tyre,,,,,LOL.

Why not cut the back side of the bag close to the tyre before pulling it out from the front. This way theres less to pull through and it will come out easier and faster.

Nice trick though, pity it wont work for removing the tyre.

  • The bags usually pull through easily. Of course, the one we video-taped was stubborn! You could cut off the bag before pulling it out, but use scissors and not a knife so you don't cut the tire.

  • nice, thanks for sharing! could have taken it a step further and put some baby powder on it.

  • As Gomer would say "shezamm!". Now that is a good trick.

  • Great video. Who did your camera work?
