@OnlyJeppy Ultima Thule is not only a band from Estonia, there is a band named Ultima Thule from Sweden which started to write their music in 1982 but got more serious in 1984.

And I also belive the Swedish Ultima Thule is more famous (over all) than the Estonian Ultima Thule, nothing bad meant but I've heard that the Swedish band got their 2 best selling albums to reach both the United States and Japan once, I've also seen lots of fans outside of Sweden.

So however Thule is not only Estonian.

"ultima thule" isnt the old name of scandinavia, its the last island named Thule before the northern ice, therefore its called "ultima" cause its the last land. Named first by Pytheas from Massilia.

"Ultima Thule" means "northern rim (egde) of the world" and it lies 6 days from brittani in the north. "Thule" seems to be the norsk island Smøla.

Scandinavia was called "Scandza" in this times.

The vikings lived in the southern norway, not so far in the north.
