everyone bitches about driling in pa but are state is broke and nobody is creating jobs but the gas and and oil industry and mining in pa has ruined more water then gas drilling has so its time to take the good with the bad and deal with it
This is another sad story of peoples' lives being ruined by the greed of large corporations. The first thing that came to mind upon watching this video, is why does this family need such a huge house? I doubt it's anywhere close to being energy efficient. We can't expect to be able to continue using vast amounts of resources without serious environmental consequences. Living "the American Dream"only promotes the raping and degradation of the earth's resources.
This is a heartbreaking story, like so many around the country now. But I don't see how we're going to move forward with truly clean energy with people living in such massive, oversized houses. Upon watching this video, my first thought was "do you really need to be living in such a huge house? And how energy efficient is it? We can't have it both ways - we can't keep consuming more than our share of energy and expect that the environment won't be affected.
How sad...that the Dems would pounce on this family, using their unfortunate situation as a political stunt to argue for another tax. Too bad this hatchet job never says where the money would go or what it would be used for.
Also, it's "McMicken", not "McMillan" as he states at the beginning. Whoever gave this guy a camera should also give him a quality editor.
@swajsofa It's a shame that this family is suffering so and you are more concerned with politics and typos. Why don't you pull out your wallet and buy this family a jug of water.
very sad-- more homes being polluted and our State does not stop this and have a moratorium until further studies can be done-- I've been on this road where this family lives and there are several water buffaloes and methane exhaust pipes over the water wells-- absolutely outrageous---
Why is this still happening? FIX THIS PROBLEM! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to look up the validity of the information and conclude that bad things are happening and they need to be corrected.
