Jesus, I just realized that if Kovu actually WAS Scar's son, he would be Simba's cousin. Which would make him, not only related to Kiara, but also freakin' old. Gross. Thank god he wasn't his son. But you can't really help thinking about it...
OK, I have read a lot of comments that if he was Scar's real son they would be cousins. But, wouldn't Kovu be Kiara's uncle? Thinsk about it. Muffasa & scar are brothers. Kiara would be Muffasa's Grandaughter, but Kovu would only be Scar's SON. That means Kiara would be Kovu's neice, right?
