@BlestTheJediThug Yes, you can make any combination of Russian, English, French, German etc. spoken and/or subtitled. I played the game with spoken English and English subtitles, but I didn't noticed any fake lip sync or anything. I like that when they speak English, they still have Russian accent.

to people asking about this game, it is the most atmospheric most realistic most beautiful game ever. its not very scary but it just makes u feel like ur there, the overall silence when your alone coupled with his breathing throgh the mask is so effective in pulling u in. i have to add that i would recommend u have a powerful pc, because the lighting, or lack thereof in this game, is spectacular if the system is good enough. it could have been longer, but its not an RPG. imho the best game ever

This game is so wierd to play in English...I speak both languages fluently. I started to play the game in Russian and loved it, and the dialoge is very deep also. But when I started to play in English i stopped after the first level, the voices and speech of the characters are very primitive and wimpy in English for some reason. So I played it again in Russian lol. Ironically my favorite level was the lost tunnels..even though theres no shooting in it...very sad level.

Easiest way is if your parents already speak it and you learn it as a child. So I never really had to "learn" Russian. But I did have to learn English and French. Most languages are the same in the way you have to learn them. I'd say either take classes on it, or do it the hard way, get a book and do it yourself. To become fluent though you have to go to the country and speak it, or else its just formal knowledge. Good luck :) Have fun with it!

This is by far one of the best environmental game i have ever played. Very scary, some times i felt the great fears while playing alone at nights :) story is very powerful. Love the way hero of the game narrates his own story. Awesome ambiance.

The English voices sound forced and disgusting,switched to Russian first thing after hearing the awful intro.Other than that,storyline is good,and gameplay is better than expected,but only on hard,normal and easy take the challenge away.Besides,it's not too demanding,basically any 1GB card can run it at full settings without much problems.
