I have 2 very nice old pine boards that are a full 2" thick with no knots. Length of the boards is over 4 feet each. When I can find the time, I am going to make at least 4 Tele pine bodies from it. I think the pine body will sound great.
hi, I think the fatneck ist more important than the body wood. Pine body is very light, the whole guitar is under 3kg, that is what I like. The sound is more midrange, combined with overwound pickups not that countrytwangy, but kindof lespaul for vegetarians...The neck is 70% of a guitar

I am up to update my vids, I am assembling those guitars from some quality parts and seem to be succesful, many guys around here ordered custom made MrCela and that makes activities like youtube and facebook wait. all about this guitar is Lollar pickups and fat neck. A littlt delay from T-rex Replica and the whole thing with Palmer PDI03 speaker emulator between amp and cab.
I build those guitars from quality spare parts, all nitro, medium jumbo frets, orange drops... kind of easy, but still, the action and setup is the most important thing..
