  • Sorry, but is the Behringer ab200 also a looper? Thanks Nik

  • boss ds-1 distortion :) most inexpensive, best distortion pedal on the market! talk about bang for ur buck! :P

  • Im in love with your wah pedal exactly what kind of pedal is it like what model and kind?

    THanks!!!!!!

  • @georgia24hb Its a Dunlop Cry Baby Classic

  • The most of your pedals are the cheaèest you can get :P and you just proove that the cheap pedals have a good sound too

  • 311 champagne...nice

  • how much money did that cost you to buy every pedal!?

  • u have a korg ax3g!! me tooo xd!

  • @PrInCe5627 cry baby

  • what is that first little lick or solo u played?

  • Wat voor een versterker heb je?

    Een Vox ad100vt?

  • these people gota b tone deaf the ds-1 is the worst sounding distortion pedal made! the fab ditortion pedal blows the boss away for a third of the price, i am convinced that anyone who says the boss ds-1 sounds good are beginners and have never heard any other pedals, they just know the name boss and so they think its suppose to be good! if i wanted to sabotage someones sound i would hook up a ds-1 to there signal chain!

  • @MrJimmy1227 is the grunge pedal any good? the ds-1 was my first pedal and i thought it was awesome.... until i tried some of my friends pedals and ended up selling mine.

  • @MrJimmy1227 agreed im not a huge boss fan if u want great tone instead of ok tone rom boss i recomend mxr!

  • the boss ds-1 distortion is much better than DigiGrunge

  • oh well if you say so it must be.

  • By far dude! The DS-1 is such a classic distortion.

  • I dunno.. it sounds like a can of bees... so does the grunge.

  • @kdc300z It depends on the amp. I had one and played it on a little peavey practice amp, and it sounded like a can of bees. But I tried it on my Carvin full stack and it sounded pretty good, just not enough kick.

  • @fm694 You can't compare those 2 pedals, the DS-1 is for a classic distortion or soft distorsion, the digitech grunge is more agressive, it depends of what do you wan't to play, sorry my english sucks :)

  • @ 1:13 the tone sounds exactly like "Electric Wizard" by Black Sabbath (:

  • Nice arsenal!

  • 1:00 beautiful

  • @mexskater i have one, and i only use it for mild distortion, its not noisy since i have a noise gate, but it might be otherwise :)

  • I have a question i need help on I want to buy a Morley A/B Box but i don't know how to make it 1 signal again How do i make it one signal again? Do i use a coupler? someone help please!!!

  • @posiedonpowertrio I think you need an A/B/Y or A/B/C box

  • you need two a/b boxes, why do you want to split your signal if your just gonna bring it back into one again

  • i still love the vox wah..

  • that happened to me too, a little wd40 will fix it right up it hasnt squeeked in months now

  • Listen man do away with that HD400 it's totally fucking any tone up that's there. It's just making a honking noise which is hard to bear to be honest. Unless it's the video mic, but something is really bad with the tone. Don't mean to down your efforts but just trying to be constructive.

  • Nah , no worries, I understand what you are saying. I dont have most of that stuff anymore, and I think its just the camera and no microphone. I run a much simpler set up now.

  • Like I said, I wasn't criticising for the sake of it, I was just trying to lend an honest ear. I'm glad you took it in the way it was intended. All the best

  • que es ese pedal que tenes en la esquina superior derecha...???

el que tiene 2 bones negros..

  • holy crap did u just play a 311 song champagine ? awesome sounded exactly like it

  • ha, yea I love 311.

  • try to oil it but dont let the oil get in the hardware

  • thanx! the neon light on the FAB pedals are annoying sometimes.

  • nice pedal board did you made it or its from a brand??

    and how you carry it?

    thx!!

  • how is the behringer hum debugger? does it "debug" the hiss and buzz without any toneal altercations or guitar dynamics?

  • Use the ISP Decimator. It's the best.

  • cool sounds 5 stars

  • I sincerely hope you are being sarcastic. If not, that was a rediculous statement.

  • It was a little strange way to tell it, but he's right :)

  • lol what a hilarious response

  • Ahhh, that Digitech Grunge is... not the best. I think it's okay to use for songs like that 311 song, but the best kind of distortion (I think) comes from things like fuzz pedals... i.e. Frantones, Fuzzface, Big Muff... they're all good, even that Boss FZ-5. I think that Digitech just has too much treble, it really hurts to listen to. Although that may just be the settings on the pedal itself, I dunno.

  • thats understandable.. cannot argue with someones opinion.. it is very treble-ly

  • No man the Grunge sounds great through a Marshall. It's actually really bassy for me and sounds amazing with the bass at 3 o' clock, treble at 12, and grunge at about 2 o' clock

It all depends on which amp you use although I tried it with a little 15w first act amp and it still sounded bassy

  • throw away your korg, it sompresses the sound as hell))

  • hey man. ive got a tele, line 6 spider jam amp, a crybaby wilde, phase 90. DS1, and a DD7. what order should they be in for best tone?

  • Get a tube amp and your tone will improve alot. Pedals dont really work with transistors, but as an answer to your question: Delay in effect loop and DS1,Phase and Crybaby.

  • I have to slightly disagree, but agree about tube amps. I thiink pedals outside of overdrive pedals work well with SS amps. Line 6 is ok, until you crank it and it starts "square waving"

  • TUBE FOR LIFE!!!

  • muito mau timbrado...

  • hey gust what i got a weeping demon or you can call it a wd7

  • Bro, I am happy for you, I truly am, but every time you get something for your pedal board is not really a cause for an annoucement. No offense, but its like my little 10 year old nephew who always says "Uncle Ken Guess What I got?"... ITs all good bro, just posts some vids of your board or something!

  • I'm actually wondering of that the flanger of boss is better then flanger of digitech?because I don't see the very big different and there is a different is price ^^

  • I think digitech is a great band, formally DOD

  • not a big fan of digitech sorry to say

  • I'd highly recommend the Electro Harmonix "Deluxe Electric Mistress"! There are some great deals on used ones on ebay right now, it's well worth it! I think you'll like it better than Boss or Digitech.

  • I have a question. Do you power your pedals by battery or power supply from the wall, because i was wondering if you had to have a seperate power supply (from the wall) for each pedal, or can you get a special type which powers all the pedals. Thanks.

  • I use a 1Spot POwer SUpply from Visual Sound. It is a daisy chain power supply. Supplies everything except the Q Tron, look at newer videos to see it.

  • Thanks, i'll look into it.

  • I have the crybaby wah pedal. I think i'm gonna buy the dimebag or slash wah next. Nice job

  • Só pedal gatinho, uma merda de set!

  • can you do a shootout between grunge and ds1

  • the digitech one?

  • i wish i had that meny peadels

  • tahts grate. lerne to speel

  • Wait, what does the Q-Tron do again? I completely forgot. Nice pedal board, BTW. The BOSS is so sweet. I have one me'self.

  • low/high pass filter. it triggers at a certain value (pick intensity)

  • yo guys I tinke the boss ds1 destortion is the best

  • check out the 'box of rock' by zvex, or the fulltone ocd.. open your mind to another possibilities, dont focuse on the box pedals, they suck

  • because they suck hardwire, tc electronics, dunlop/mxr and electroharmonix. make better pedals than boss

  • Not in all kind of pedals

  • jeje your shoes convers ev pro?

  • I have a question.....I'm planing to build a Pedalboard....but i dont have more than 400 bucks.....I play stuff like Pink Floyd and LEd zeppelin....can someone tell me what are the neccesary pedals I need for that! Please, I need help

  • defiantly wah and deal

  • I had a couple. The DS-1 I didnt like, I like the others, but never really needed any of them, and didnt have the money at the time anyways, so...

  • Dude, Check Out The Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah Pedal

  • will do, thanks

  • is that a keeley modded ds1 ??

  • nah..

  • please brother...... whats?¿?¿?¿ the setting of delay

  • Whats up... Here you go:

    11 , 9 , 11 , 7

  • has anyone ever heard of a two timer delay pedal my cousin has one and its awesome

  • BBE?

  • ahahaha I remember the Grunge pedal, worst 30 bucks I ever spent back when I started playing. It was still owned by DOD then though

  • Yea, some people can't get a good sound from it no matter when they started playing. I'm pretty sure it still is the same company.

  • very nice riffs

    u make em urself?

  • nice up grades. it also sounds from the bits you are playing that u can play some diverse material. have you uploaded any songs

  • champagne sound very good

  • essentially they are the same effect. they are both modulation. flange is a slow rate chorus

  • What is a envolope filter?

  • It's sort of like an auto-wah. It's a sweeping EQ modulation, but instead of being based on your up/down foot movement, it's usually controlled by the voltage of your input signal.

  • i see in the description that you have a Behringer HD400 Hum Debugger, im thinking of buying one cause of the nasty hum when i turn my distortion pedal on. does it get rid of most hum? and does it affect your tone on clean?

  • Hi, it helped a bit.. There was a loss in volume though, and that negates the idea of using it. So, id say its not worth it.

  • Try out the Boss Noise Suppressor, Used by many pro's and just takes away the hum without compremising tone or volume. Its a bit on the dear side but worth it I'd say.

  • cant you just get noiseless pickups though?

  • you could, for me, my guitars with Humbuckers do not need it, but I have a couple of single coil guitars that could benefit.

  • u should definitly send me the tab for the little riff thing u play at the begining with the wah. thanks man

  • Its a Dod stereo phaser, but I love most of the Dod pedals. Built in the same factory as Digitech, in Sandy,Utah,

  • what pedal is that next 2 the ds1

  • To the right is a Digitech Grunge, to the left is a Korg modeler, and on the top shelf to the left is a Dod stereo phaser.

  • Its a Dunlop Cry Baby classic.

  • behinger hellbabe

  • thats a wah pedal.

  • champane the california on the brain :p

  • dude champagne! ive never seen anyone simulate that sound

  • Korg AX3G Modeler

    i have that one

  • not really diggin the toneworks ax3g, or the danelectro boxes, like digitech and boss, but thats bout it, the crybaby is ok, but i perfer morley

  • wow is that behringer your only delay?

  • i have the same wah and chorus. By the way thats a tight setup

  • dude that DOD phaser, i've got the same one and i love it.

  • i mean during the video.. hehe

  • I just want to ask, what are u doing with your KORG Toneworks?

  • nothing now. But when I first got it I would save a bunch of presets so I can get to specific sounds as quickly as possible.

  • Anybody recommend the Digitech Tone driver?

  • i do. i have one and i love it. you cant get a shit loud of tones out of it. if youre looking for an overdrive under $80 even $100 its worth checking out.

  • danelectro fab pedals are good?

  • ok i understand that gain goes first then modulated effects and then timebased. but where does the wah and whammy pedal go?

  • well i've never used a whammy pedal but you'll want to put your wah first in the chain

  • Whammy or pitchshifter/harmony pedals should always go before other effects unless you want to confuse the pedal, and wahs should probably go before delays or echoes, and it really depends on if you want to "encapsulate" some of the other effects in a wah or give those effects to a wahed sound.

  • 311 hell yes!!!!!

  • yeahh champagne

  • can you use the Fab pedals on bass?

  • kudos on the behringer delay my friend i also own one an they r just as good any of the boss or digitech models i think they need to work on the tap tempo mode a bit though

    much love

    ToGaS

  • do you go through the effects loop? or straight in fornt of ur amp>

  • my pedalboard has changed much since this video. I do run an overdrive through my effects loop on my Fender deluxe... Everything else is ran in front of the amplifiers.

  • fabs suck

  • so does your mom. Son.

  • do you say that because of the fact thay are just plastic and $15... you must be because the tone is way better than those POS boss flange and chorus

  • having a bit of a dilemma noise gate wise

i heard bad things about the NR100 - i was going to get the ig9 until i heard bad things about that

does the hd100 do the same as a decent noise gate/surpressor

  • sorry bro, I dint have a noise gate pedal so I cannot help... The behringer hum debugger works as long as you do not use an ab switch that isnt internally grounded.

  • i got the hd400 and it did me no favours - probably because the sounds are not caused by the same things in the uk as we dont really have the same grounding problems

i will try a noise gate and see how it goes

  • Great looking pedalboard, not too crazy about your choice off effects but to each his own right. Did you make that board yourself? Perfect size for gigging.

  • how much did that cost you??

    only pedals not pedal board

  • Korg AXG3 blows...

  • just like you and your weak videos. Man, thats embarrasing.. If that were me I would kill myself.

  • lol i stand corrected

  • How much was this pedalboard?

  • 311 ftw!!!1! champagne

  • did you even use your ds-1?

  • no... dont like it.

  • yay! someone who agrees with me. the ds-1 is so fucking overrated. the turbo distortion is a LOT better.

  • yep, sounds rediculously bland... the Turbo Distortion is way better.... no doubt.

  • i recently borrowed a ds-1 and hooked it up to my SVT-4 pro. surprisingly, it gives it a little balls with the tone all the way down.

  • what bouts the keeley modded ds1?

  • I got the turbo as my first pedal, its fantastic!

  • I dont onw it but I have played through on and it is definitely different from the DS1

  • grung and cry baby do not go

  • I think they sound pretty good together. Pearl Jam used a Wah Pedal.

  • i disagree. Alice in Chains had the wah on 75% of the time and they were one of the most successful grunge acts out there

  • I play bass in a grunge band and i use Distortion and a cry baby wah. i think it sounds pretty good.I hardly use the wah with out distortion though

  • what do you use the boss fs 6 pedal for? i need some help thanks!

  • I use the switch to switch between 2 different amps. You can use to to change amps, guitars, or play 2 guitars into 1 amp. Foot switches like that are pretty useful. Mine is a Behringer ab200 footswitch, a copy of the Boss footswitch

  • Don't know for sure. I play a mesa and LOVE it

  • Tim Mahoney (311) uses Diamond amp heads (made in Houston). They have so much crunch that most people who play on them use them for death metal, haha. 311 rules man, pretty good cover of Champagne.

  • Yea I hadnlt heard of Diamond until I saw Mahoneys setup... He must have changed to them in the last couple of years... Didnt he play a Bad Cat, Mesa, and a Fender Twin?

  • I'm not going to lie, noticing the fab chorus I believe, that is probably the best clean chorus sound for the man on the budget.

  • I like the Fab Chorus as well... it has clean sounds

  • is 0:59 a Dream Theater song?

  • nah, I was just goofin...

  • nice tones ^^

  • thanks

  • how much did the entire setup cost u???

  • not sure, aroun 800...

  • what is the pedal that is blinking. Is it a tuner or something. ? the one next to the two FABs.(bottom row, 4th from the left(in video))

  • Its a Korg Multi Effects pedal. I got rid of it though...

  • are those FABs any good?

  • only some of them... I like the Chorus pedal, and the newer Danelectro pedals seem to be a higher quality.

  • you should get a digitech whammy pedal

  • any suggestions on what pedals to get?

    i've got a epi flying v, a 15 watt marshall mg15cdr, and a digitech rp70

  • not really, it depends on your style... what kind of sound you are looking for...

  • Nice video thanks

  • sure! thanks...

  • Where am I located? California, U.S.
