  • i have the 5 brush set...they are soooo soft, love it OMG =)

  • I LOVE my eco tools brush set. the best thing thats happened to me. you guys in America are so lucky theyre so cheap over there! They cost like 3 times the price here in Australia :(.

  • i really recomend these brushes!!! there actually amazin!

  • I do NOT recommend buying or using this brush set. I bought mine from a local drugstore and am very disappointed with them. Yes, the powder and blush brush is very soft and is the only pro of the set. The other brushes are not as soft and do not hold much product on them and leave a lot of fall out.

  • Just because a brush has synthetic hair doesn't mean it works less better than a brush with natural hair. I actually prefer brushes using synthetic hair as I find brushes with natural hair shed more.

  • thanks for the review, I got the six piece brush set for my birthday from my grandma and was wondering if they worked well. Lol

  • I just got my Ecotools brush set and so excited to try it tomorrow, woo hoo!!! :DDD

  • Hello from Holland! Would you be interested in a swap? There is no way for me to get the blush brush or eye shadow or concealer brush by ecotools. I would be over the moon if you would send them to me and I will send you goodies from my country. please let me know if you like the idea. greets, Brenda

  • @janelee93 I GOT THEM FOR 8$CDN :)

  • I Have Thoseee! Theyre AWesome!!:D

  • i think these r the best brushes ever.

  • I love these so much! The powder brush is soooo soft and it was so inexpensive! Especially compared to mac.

  • Love theses brushes. The stippling brush works awesome I just wish it wasn't limited addition. If it wears out then I'm doomed... Hopefully I'll be onto brushes like Sigma by then... Mac is iffy at this point.

  • I just bought these today, i really like them, and it makes me feel good cause slightly saving the earth, because it's eco-friendly. I really like these brushes, and there my first set (:

  • The best brushes I've ever used!

  • Great video, when you first get the cotool brushes do you have to wash them before using them?

  • I love Eco tools :)

  • @nightmarejoey Let's beat you into a cage, not feed you for weeks on end and chop off all of your hair and see how you feel afterwards. :D If you're okay after that, then you have a legit argument.

  • @ShimmyKimmy90 i care about animal rights a lot and i am vegetarian. let me ask you something: do you eat meat? do you know how animals die of horrific deaths when they are slaughtered? do you know that cows actually cry before they die? don't be such a hypocrite.

back to makeup brushes, is it even economical to raise a whole horse, beat him, not feed him, and kill afterwards just for the hair?? or any other animals, raise them until they are adulthood, and kill them for their hair just once?

  • Comment removed

  • @nightmarejoey You misinterpreted the fact that I support animal rights and I am against abuse. I don't believe that animals should be abused or killed for unnecessary things, such as make-up brushes. That's why I believe Eco-Tools is a great product since it doesn't use any sort of animal product. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. I replied to you in a sarcastic way because you showed ignorance by saying that animals "do not die" when they do, eventually and are abused.

  • Animals DO NOT DIE to get their hair made into makeup brushes. Get the facts straight and don't spread stupid myths around. Their HAIR IS SIMPLY CUT OFF. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KILL THEM TO GET THEIR HAIR. KILLING AN ANIMAL JUST FOR THEIR HAIR TO BE MADE INTO BRUSHES IS ALSO NOT EVEN PROFITABLE. Many brushes use horse hair, and YOU THINK THEY KILL AN WHOLE HORSE FOR THAT? Violin bow also uses horse hair, YOU THINK THEY KILL A WHOLE HOSE FOR THAT?? DON'T BE STUPID!!!!

  • @nightmarejoey caaalllmmm down...

  • @nightmarejoey It's the misery they go through to even have their hair cut. Doesn't matter if they die but they are in horrid conditions at all times and tight spaces, they don't get to be free animals. Get your complaints straight :)

  • i love these brushes! i got given them for my birthday in a whole set, they are amazing.

  • i bought my first ecotools brush today, i got the foundation one and it is excellent! best foundation brush i've ever owned, i totally recommend it :)

  • I love these brushes; if I see more at the pharmacy that I don't have yet, I'll get them.

  • I brought those brushes! and the came in this tall eco tools stand that hold all of them - soo cute and handy!

  • whats the best make up brushes?i need help

  • i love my foundation brush! i havent really tried anything else, but who needs to when they are so affordable and work well. i also have the angled and the eyeshadow brush.

  • OMqqq I have the whole thing the whole thing brushes ect.

  • I'm doing very extensive research on these brushes before I buy them and I think I'll go to Walgreens tomorrow to buy a pack after hearing reviews and reading comments. They sound really good.

I bought some Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target yesterday and they cost more than EcoTools. If EcoToolscan get the same job done at half the price, then I'm going to buy them. Thanks for the review.

  • thanks for the review!

  • The only brush I didn't like was teh highlight brush. After I washed it a couple times all the hairs fell out.

  • Thank you for doing this review!! I was skeptical about these brushes at first but I think I'm going to try them!! Thanks <3 xoxo!!

  • I just bought the brushes today and I love them :) They are so soft and brilliant to use.

  • I bought the Alicia Silverstone case that came with these brushes and I'm in love!

  • I love my ecotools brushes! theyre insanely soft! I use them more than i use my mac brushes

  • the ones i have have different colored hairs.

  • their amazing i love them ! their so soft and work really well !

  • I just got these brushes at target.... I got two sets. I love them to death and they work so great! I couldn't recommend an other type of brushes!! I love ecotool brushes....btw both set together were about $15 and now i have 9 brushes and they were a great price....loveeee themmmm

  • i have these too, but i don't think the eyeshadow brush is soft enough, i usually use the concealer one to apply eye shadow

  • Also I buy Clinique brushes that are made of goat hair, and they don't kill or treat them horribly. Especially since they don't test on animals either.

  • But I thought Mac brushes are made with Synthetic hair and mix of nylon. Except for the 187, The only brand I know that are all made with goat hair are Clinique brushes. Please correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm confused.

  • thank you for sharing and making this video. i always see these brushes in the drugstore and wonder whether they're worth getting or not. so this was very helpful and fun for me to watch! :)

  • I have the 5 piece set, and I'm loving them! They also make a 5 piece eye brush set that comes in a little roll-up pouch thing with a mirror and includes a blending brush, crease brush, highlighting brush, shading brush, and smudging brush. I have this set too, and I really like them! These brushes are so affordable and really great quality!

  • get them @ rite aid this week by one get one FREEEEE

    YAAAAAAY ...i got myself 2 sets for 10 $

  • i love those brushes so much. i've used the biggest one for bronzer everyday for about a year and not a single hair has fallen out :)

  • For those of you that are in Canada, these are at walmart for quite cheap as well. I was super surprised at how amazing they are and they don`t shed! I bought the powder brush, washed it with a light shampoo - still super soft, no weird smell, no bleed, no shed.

  • do you get these at target?

  • good review - fair, informative, easy to listen to. Well done!

  • i got the set thats in the magazine :D woo

  • how do you wash synthetic brushes?

  • So the large powder brush, yes or no?

  • I LOVE THESE brushes! I am having a contest giveaway of eco tools because I want to share their awesomeness lol!

  • i love those brushes too :) except the roll..hate the roll. it deformed one of my brushes lol

  • I just bought a blush brush and the eyeshadow blending brush and I loveeeee them! I wanted to actually buy the set but when i went back to Rite Aid they didn't have anymore left. These are great brushes. I fell in love!

  • i finally bought these brushes and im in love - thank you

  • i just bought the 5 brush set at Target for $10.99 and they are very nice. I reccomend them

  • do the bristles fall out much??

  • @mznaturezfinest omg these brushes are amazing.

they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo soft. and dont shed. envormentally friendly. softer then $60 brushes lol

  • nope.

  • @mznaturezfinest no they dont. i have had mine for over a year and they are great. I wash them with dial liquid soap too. Very good brushes and great price.

  • great review ; im thinking about getting the whole set like how they sell it with 5 brishes :)

  • @imanibeauty: I would if I were you because even if you're not going to use every brush, it's still cheaper. You get 5 brushes and an eye brow/eyelash comb for $11-$13 and one brush for about $5-7, so technically, getting all of them is cheaper.

  • AMAZING SOFT BRUSHES! ♥

  • Walgreens has them too

  • they are so soft i love them

  • I just bought a set from Target for 11 dollars the powder brush was sold separate for 8 dollars. I'm excited to try them!

  • have you tried the eyeliner brush? how is it? cuz someone said on their video that it's too thick to make thin lines. would appreciate any comment :) thanks!

  • @dhj373 it is a little on the wider side, so I use it as a brow brush to fill in thinner areas with my sonia kashuk brow palette. I like a narrower brush for using my L'Oreal HIP liner so I just have a craft store brush :)

  • @dhj373 it is thick but i use it to fill in my brows so its okay!

  • you should try the foundation brush, it's awesomeeeee <3

  • i have used them i got them today on clearence and they are veryy soft.!!lol but i only got the blush brush , finishing brush , angled eye shadow brush , and the lash and brow broomer for only 11 dollars at target

  • I like the eyeshadow brushes...they are great i got them at ulta for a very good deal. :)

*don't underestimate because they are not expenisive!

  • wich drugstore did you find them in?

  • they're at walmart.

  • I found mine at Target. I got the 5 brush set for $ 10.99. Hope this helps.

  • I found these products in KMart Australia and bought an eye shadow brush. Wow, was I surprised to see a green product. I wish more companies would look into this area. Like they state, bamboo is a common source and the aluminium also readily available. I love the feel of this product. I could not get the entire brush set. Your review was excellent, thank you...

  • i just got the set today, they're the first makeup brushes i have ever used/gotten and i LOVE them sooo much! it works great for all my makeup and they're really soft :)

  • i just LOVEEEE those brushes

    damn though...

    I WISH I HAD MORE

  • Hmm I'm not too sure about these brushes. I've got the set and once I washed my eyeshadow brush the bristles have gone all weird. They haven't split or anything, but they aren't firm anymore and feel like they're still wet (which they most definitely are not - it's been several months since I washed it!) so when I run my finger through the brush all of the bristles stay bent to the side rather than flicking back to their original position.

Does anyone know why this happened and what can be done?

  • wow im sorry you had such a horrible experience. i think it might be that you didnt get all of the soap or brush cleanser out of the brush. mine wash beautifully. i still use them and this video is a year old at least and mine still look the same. I recommend rewashing them with a gentle shampoo. keep rinsing it until you are positive all the shampoo is out of the brush. if the bristles are stiff try a very tiny amount of conditioner. lay it flat to dry. let me know if this helps.

  • I followed your advice and it worked a treat! It's nice and firm again - what it should be! I now like this brush very much!

Thank you ever so much, your advice really helped!

  • I finally was able to start buying these brushes a couple of weeks ago..... and I am totally in love with them all. I agree the powder brush can be a bit much but I use it more when I want that really matte look. My favs are the eye brushes and I have been using the angled one for my eyebrows..... They may not be the BEST but when you are bargain hunting these are the best! Plus its great to know they are eco-friendly..... hence the reason they should be more affordable. Good review:)

  • I agree. For the price its worth it. Not top quality but still pretty good. thank you so much =)

  • :) I don't think that if you cut the goat's hair, it'll die:)

no way and btw it's good for it to have it hair cut sometimes, sorry but sounds funny...anyway

    interesting video

  • that might be true that not all the time they kill the animal just for their hair or fur but they treat the animals horribly and make them live in horrible conditions. MAC brushes use animal hair but they are cruelty free.

  • i got all mine from walgreens too! they had a pack that contained a mirror. i wanted it so bad but i hesitated and didnt get it right then. its soo cute. its made from the same material as the brushes.

  • oh wow i havent seen the set with the mirror yet, but i will look for it =)

  • i just bought those today. i havent tried them yet. i hope their as great as evryone says they are. they are very soft. i bought two sets of different brushes and i cant tell them apart is my only problem

  • how are you liking the brushes?

  • i love them. everyone is complaining about the foundation brush, so i didnt use that one right away. but i just bought some liq. foundation from revlon. at first i used my fingers to apply it and then i just decided to use the brush and it works great. its a little too big for my face but i still love to use it. the brushes are so soft and sturdy and strong. i really love the eyshadow brush and concealer br. i havent tried the blush br. bcuz i dont use blush. they're worth more than what i paid!

  • cont.) and my mom just got a set of mac brushes, 300 dollar value brush set from mac. they had a sale. she was raving to me about how great they work and all the different tricks you can do with them, but i loved my ecotools brushes too much to try hers. i am infatuated with my ecotools brushes. and yes, i know that sounds weird :D

  • @chocolytesprynkles yes they are the best

  • @chocolytesprynkles Hey Hun. I know your comment is a little old. But if your still having trouble you can try writing on them, wrapping duct tape on one, or keeping them in seperate containers. I memorize my brushes pretty well, but now that im hooked on this brand im thinking about doing this with my brushes.

    Especially if you have two eyeshadow brushes and the day before you applied darker shadow, and lets face it. Its kinda hard to wash your brushes EVERY day. (;

  • oh my gosh these are the best brushes in my opinion.

    1. because they are not made from animal hair

    2. the are eco friendly and so soft

I bought these a while ago and they are definitely great if you are a beginner :)

  • im so glad you love these brushes so much =)

  • @ProudChristian92

i'm gonna start with make up, i'm glad these are eco friendly. I'm crazy to help the environment as much as i can. :)

  • ok so, as a pro makeup artist, i hate that i love these brushes, because lets face it this is my career and id rather sell an expensive product on comission. EVERYONE wants the same thing, great quality as cheap as you can get it for, and for that reason i simply think these brushes do alot of justice. I USE REAL HIGH QUALITY SORME brushes that costed HUNDREDS of dollars and there are plenty of times where i reach for my ecos when my goats are right there. Are they THE BEST? NO,but theyareGREAT!

  • what a great comment! I totally agree. not the best but great and gets the job done. i think its good to have in anyone's collection =)

  • I'm running to my local Walgreen's to buy this brushes NOW! Specially because they're canimal cruelty free! And all the good things I've hear of them.

  • just wash them. it does not shed. after washing, let it air dry. im always washing my ecotools brush :)

  • I have the set. the lady in the store told me no matter what do not wash them!! but I didn't know any other way to clean them deeply so i washed them and they are a little ruffed out

so how do you clean yours?

  • i don't understand why some people hate these brushes so much, i absoulutly love them. I feel guilty that my favorite brush (Studio Basics two in one foundation and concealer brush) is not from Ecotools. I would have if i had known...either way, love everything about EcoTools!

  • Great review!! thanks so much, i'm definitely going to buy some of these brushes

  • yea i only have the powder brush so far and it doesn't really pick up much product and spread evenly or much on your face

thinking back i probably should have got the blush brush instead

  • I got a pack that included all of what I need. I suggest the white and brown tip set because there easier to clean and apply better in my opinion

  • I Looove these brushes.

  • Anyway, I just wanted to say.. girls, save your money! These are animal cruelty free, eco-friendly and they are beautifully soft! To think I was going to splurge on a 30 dollar brush.

  • You know, it was funny, I was out planning on splurging on expensive, high quality brushes today when I came across these eco-friendly ones as I was in Zellers. The "eco-friendly" ;abel really caught my attention, and I ended up opting for the cheaper powder brush since I figured I couldn't go wrong with such a low price.. Needless to say, I am AMAZED at how high quality these brushes. I swear they are just as soft as the ones i would have spent a fortune on.. animal cruelty free. I LOVE them!

  • I just recently got the 6 piece set and its done very well so far.I love them, and deff would recommend them for beginners

  • does anyone know how much they are retailing for in the UK boots?

  • where can i find them? great review! :D

  • thank you =) you can find them in pretty much any drugstore now. I have seen them in duane reade, cvs, walgreens i think, and also this weekend i saw them in bed bath and beyond!

  • i love ecotool they are fantastic

  • they are! I love them. =)

  • i got the set at ulta for $7.99...and i really like them a lot :)

  • that is a great price!!!

  • they are really good! i got them at walgreens like a month ago, i washed them today and no hairs fell out

  • yup... i have not experienced any shedding with them either. love it!

  • Really appreciate your review! Im getting my friend to get them from US since we dont have ANYTHING here in Singapore and Malaysia. Hmmmppphh!

  • let me know how you enjoy them!

  • I just bought the retractable kabuki and it is a GREAT brush. I got it for only $7.99!

  • Ooooo, Aaaaah. They are so ....fluffy looking. Pretty. I am in love!

  • I found them at Dan's food & drug store.

They have the set for 6.99

  • I bought the set too! and their sooooo soft. worth it.

  • I was just wondering what you use to clean these brushes :)

  • use a liquid hand soap :)

  • i bought the 6 piece set today it rox!!!!

  • i love these brushes. I have the set and I just got the foundation brush. sooooo soft. the powder replaced my 150!! LOL

  • I bought a set at Target for 11 bucks

  • T%^heir amazing,

and u can get a set for $13.00

  • I bought 4 eyeshadow brushes and they are my fav. They apply the eyeshadow perfectly and evenly. I like the fact that I don't have to polish the handle.

  • i have those brushes too and i lovvvvvvvvve them..

  • hah

i have the eyeshadow brush from them.

    i LOVE it

  • super cheap & SUUUUUPER soft

    enough said :)

  • I have the basic set. And I have to say that they are extremely good brushes. They are made well and do everything you expect them to do. I won't waste a penny more on these other name brand brushes that don't do what they are made for. They hold product well, they apply evenly and are a whole lot better for our planet. What else could you want?

  • i got the powder brush and i'm using it for my blush. i love it, it is so freaking soft, and i love anything cruelty free. besides, these are super cheap compared to other brands. i'll would definately buy more of these brushes :]

  • I just bought the set right before I watched this video. i habe"t used them yet but when I felt them I was like WOW! thats soft!!

  • i have bought a few of these brushes and i must say DO NO BUY THE SETS as they are cheaply made then the individuals cause they are mass produced by machines...not by hand....there is a diff in the, i threw them away and went with the individual brushes...i now have 4 e/s brushes and 3 eyliner brushes and thats where i will stop with their products, e/s is great for bases, paints, and also fludline all over lid application

  • wow i didnt know that. thanks for the tip. i also like the shadow and liner brushes best. =)

  • I have the eye shadow brush and I really love it. It's soft and the bristles are dense and hold it's shape well. I've washed it twice now and it still holds well. I think they are really good for the money and will buy more.

  • i agree i love them =)

  • I bought these brushes a few weeks ago and love them.

  • awesome!!! im so glad you enjoy the brushes =)

  • They are amazing. So soft and ticklish. Hehe. I will NEVER buy another brush manufacturer again. I'm gonna order 10 eyeshadow brushes right now :)

  • im so happy you like them so much! =)

  • hi,do you think the blush brush they are selling individually has the same quality as the one included on the set?

  • according to someone who just posted on this video, the ones in the set arent as good as the individual ones.

  • they sell the whole 5 piece set at target for $10.99...i love the blush brush..it's so soft!

  • thats great! so glad u love them :-)

  • i bought my eco tools at walgreens.. a 5 pc set for 10.49

  • i think that is the cheapest price i heard them sell for. you got a great deal! i hope u enjoy them :-)

  • These brushes are AMAZING. but i bought my set for $24.95!!! Australian :(

  • sorry the price is so high there but im so happy you love them =)

  • AWESOME REVIEW!!! I've been wanting to get these brushes and now I"m sold!!!! hehe

  • thank you so much :-) hope you like the brushes :-)

  • These are not available anywhere around here!

I made a review as well, I was soooo happy when I found them at ulta!

  • yay! im glad you found them and that you like them!!! :-)

  • Thank you for this review, I have been looking for some good brushes for low prices. I can not afford the beautiful ones in the makeup stores/counters. I keep feeling the brushes in drug stores, but i haven't seen these. i must have looked over them! Thanks again!

  • thank you so much. i like to post lower priced alternatives to high end stuff... check out my looks for less videos. i am going to try to make more of them soon =)

  • I just bought a set of these brushes @ Walgreens for $11 and I love them!!!! They are so soft & lightweight. Even thought the brushes are synthetic, they still feel like natural bristles. Again LOVE THEM!!!

  • i agree :-) im so happy you enjoy them :-)

  • Awesome! I have to find these!
