the delay is not clearly setup... you should set it up to 3/16 in order to get the rythm right... in the studio version it is around 467 ms, in live versions it is around 441 ms
Obviously you used delay. I think he is wondering if you used any compression. Did you? Your sound is pretty good. I think maybe the high notes could ring out a little longer but other than that it sounds great. Now that you have this part down, it shouldnt take you long to learn the rest of the song. Its a pretty easy song to play overall, but it feels awesome to play.
not bad at all! You should let the delay resonate after the final ringing before starting the riff again. It just sounds too rushed and trips over itself at that part.
you are a good guitarist and you know from the comments below where u got it wrong from the original version but to be honest it still sounds pretty shit hot. anything different is good.
Sorry..I'm not too knowledgeable in music theory. I just try to learn songs for fun, can't really read music. I know I gotta figure out how to get this song to song better though
Let the delays be your metronome. You have to keep the timing really tight. Play it very straight to get used to the timing. You are on your way, just don't rush...
Thanks...I know it's far from perfect. I did this one a couple of months ago and only practiced it a little before the recording. Gosh it's tought to get the timing and delay to sound right!

Hey thanks for listing the delay settings. Any ideas on how to work out the dial setting to obtain these numbers on a Boss DD3? Cheers

try dotted 8th note delay at 109 tempo or so ad play straight 8th notes... of course cross picking for the notes that fall out of sync
