  • Wrong delay settings and wrong timing and Rhythm

  • @duplantisjustin No its the right delay settings, he just doesn't keep the rhythm the whole time

  • so fast.. oh my

  • Too fast. Good tho :)

  • Too fast...

  • You missed out the harmonic at fret 12

  • muito rapido

  • don't worry about the rest just yet....need to still practice on the intro.

  • really good. only thing you really need to work on is your delay timing. other than that, awesome man!

  • Almost there, you just need to get the rhythm of the hammer ons

  • the delay is not clearly setup... you should set it up to 3/16 in order to get the rythm right... in the studio version it is around 467 ms, in live versions it is around 441 ms

  • Hey thanks for listing the delay settings. Any ideas on how to work out the dial setting to obtain these numbers on a Boss DD3? Cheers

  • excellent stuff man, when you gonna give us the rest?

  • to fast but good

  • son acordes muy faciles, si , lo son, pero la simplesa es lo que hace grande a esta musica es simple pero a la vez grandiosa

  • mmm and what model of delay?

  • I use a digitech digidelay

  • what effects u used in this song?

  • Delay!!!

  • Obviously you used delay. I think he is wondering if you used any compression. Did you? Your sound is pretty good. I think maybe the high notes could ring out a little longer but other than that it sounds great. Now that you have this part down, it shouldnt take you long to learn the rest of the song. Its a pretty easy song to play overall, but it feels awesome to play.

  • interested in more detail on all the parts to this U2 song and others, I have some vids at:

    VANZANT/U2GuitarTutorials

  • like it it man. u got a good ear, just slow it down. sounds good though

  • not bad at all! You should let the delay resonate after the final ringing before starting the riff again. It just sounds too rushed and trips over itself at that part.

  • you are a good guitarist and you know from the comments below where u got it wrong from the original version but to be honest it still sounds pretty shit hot. anything different is good.

  • try dotted 8th note delay at 109 tempo or so ad play straight 8th notes... of course cross picking for the notes that fall out of sync

  • Sorry..I'm not too knowledgeable in music theory. I just try to learn songs for fun, can't really read music. I know I gotta figure out how to get this song to song better though

  • excellent !!!! 5 Star

And whats funny is that you didnt title this as amazing guitarist. It was just plain and simple guitar Sounds great .

  • not even close, but keep at it

  • thats some crazy cross picking

  • Let the delays be your metronome. You have to keep the timing really tight. Play it very straight to get used to the timing. You are on your way, just don't rush...

  • Thanks...I know it's far from perfect. I did this one a couple of months ago and only practiced it a little before the recording. Gosh it's tought to get the timing and delay to sound right!

  • Too fast...too delay..try again.

    Good Guitar!
