I guess the next question becomes how do we get people to start taking action on new ideas? Starting, making the initial move is always the hardest part.
Yes I am very aware of Barbara. I love her work. I am trying to rally up visionaries for a new future. Get people back into thinking for themselves and learning how to really apply their minds in a more productive way. :-)
I am currently working on developing collaborative communities where people live together and work together sharing resources and providing community support. We have all become so isolated. Not a good thing.

Are you aware of the work of Barbara Marx Hubbard? She is totally working towards creating a critical mass of consciousness (conscious people) working towards the kind of world that we want to live in. People from all walks of life working together can create a new world.
I'm puzzled though, why are you talking about the 2012 prophecy and not the negativity involved in everyday images of Arabs being evil individuals who are looking to kill us westerners, because that is what we're exposed to every day.
All that the media tells us, is that it's positive to and factual that Arabs are massmurders, and invading any given Arabic country at any given time, is positive and totally acceptable.
@MrVirtualCoder The point is that it's not about taking sides with a position, or voicing an opinion. Plenty of people are doing that, and I don't need to be one more. What I am offering is not a gruesome look at the current situation, that in reality could be an illusion also, but rather invoking the creative ability to come up with solutions, answers, new ideas . . . instead of just reacting to an idea that in reality we can't even safely say is true.
