we do not have any navy ships using diesel. the older ships (if still active) use fuel oil (that is not the same a diesel) or nuclear. they both have less polutants than the diesel running ships and cost less to fuel. in fact the nuclear ships do not need refueling.

Your idea that the world should "share" resources is an ambiguous statement. If by share you mean anyone should be able to buy property from whoever owns the property, then yes, I agree they should be shared. The free market price mechanism is the best way to determine who gets them, because those who need them the most will pay the highest prices. Any attempt to have government decide who gets them through politicized decisions is a sure recipe for failure. I may or may not need 10 g of barium.

First, bad things happen under any system (Charles Manson) that are not the system's fault. But overall you must be referring to something called "crony capitalism" where the local government is corrupt and extorts businesses and people. That's a government problem. What I'm talking about is "free market capitalism" which is good. As for police, they are much needed. I would prefer them privatized, but the present government controlled police are tolerable and better than not having them at all.

The Fed has caused many problems with the money supply, even going back the Depression. Excess Congressional spending has a huge disastrous role too.
Recently (7 to 3 yrs ago), the Fed made too much money, via low interest rates, causing the housing bubble.
Then, after realizing the mistake, raised i, causing financial turmoil.
Congress is bad too, for forcing sub-prime loans.
Some cities are bad too, by restricting housing supply (ie "smart growth"), pushing up prices.

DDT is great. It has eliminated malaria in many countries. Malaria still kills a million+/year.
It's negatives are greatly exaggerated & fabricated.

Ik vind het leuk dat organizaties, ongeacht of dat nu milieu organizaties zijn of niet, elkaar wijzen op het feit dat ze sommige dingen milieu bewuster kunnen doen.
Als je gaat debatteren dan kun eje ook afvragen of uberhaubt iemand utube mag gebruiken want die hebben een boel servers staan om dit te hosten, laat staan de google stroom / rekenkracht / opslag etc. die nodig is om dit te verbinden met andere topics zodat het te vinden is. (Of je eigen pc thuis om dit te bekijken)

In my opinion all green-kinda-organisations are naive; their website, does it run on what they call ''green servers''? Their clothes, are they produced in an environmentally-responsible way? Their cameras, what are they made of? Recycled plastic?
It's just a waste of time, if people don't want to change their ways of living, nobody on earth can force them and trying to force them will only hurt the environment more...

Green-kinda-organisations are dirty they:
- don't shower
- drive old diesels
- don't shave (including the women!)
- They use Co2 friendly servers so they can plant young tree's instead of leaving a 2000 year oak!
Global warming is a HOAX!
The only reason why this is so important is that the goverment can collect more tax!

You speak the truth on global warming (AGW). 1/3 of the people are brainless drones who will believe AGW no matter what evidence you show them. 1/3 see the lies of the AGW alarmist. The 1/3 in the middle are being swayed to the farce of AGW... Recent polls of AGW show that the truth is winning.... 3rd world countries could care less as long as fools at Copenhagen give them money for CO2 "reparations".
