@utubearenazis Because he's trying to show that the Devil wants you to give up. There was a story in the bible where the apostles healed a crippled man begging for money, they told the crippled man don't thank them but thank the creator who gave them the power to heal the crippled man.
It's amazing how so few people now can sing in live concert and actually sound great and beyond. I'm amazed D-Train sounds this good. True testament to his talent.
All the technology to recreate whatever sound you wish to achieve, and they still give class acts like this guy shitty backing audio. Luckily this guy's amazing voice saved it.
let's go dancing reach reach crazy dance with D Train... Come on..!!!! keep on !!! let's groove come on..Trop cool toujours aussi top cette chanson !!!
This is a GREAT song...Ok..is it me or was the crowd a lil dry when he wanted them to finish the lyrics??? If I was there I would have beens screaming out the lyrics to this song like a madman!
Absolutely funktastic! Such an inspirational tune. I remember writing down the vocals (I know, sad ain't i lol). I filmed him at O2 but my copy was with hands in the air (wobble, wobble, but loved every minute). xx
That performance was tha bomb!!! He should have done that back home here in the States, bump that here in Louisville, Ky!!! I would have went crazy just off of adrenaline and the lyrics!!
Absolute quality! I saw James "D Train" Williams last week perform at O2 Ldn. And, he done a duet with Colonel Abraham singing "Before I let go - Maze" and they sounded the dogs! But "Keep On" sent shivers down my back. Well done Jame's. Fantastic!
this video brings back a lot of memories, I'm thankful someone shared this video , but I like to got a hold of the complete video, Ive seen other performers from this funk performance, can anybody share info how to get a dvd on this? thnx cali funk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's how European audiences responds. I appreciated the fact that old school groups has a huge following overseas...however, without them the old school groups will be broke.
That was the jam in the 80's. It still is, good job on this one. It is a classic. "Sky is the limit and you know it's true, keep on just keep on pressin on"!
Listen to lyrics carefully ,its so inspirational, keep don't anything or no one hold you back from reaching your goals. With the strengh of your mind you can accomplish anything you want, go for it ,wait any longer
Oh yah, danceable, repeatable, sampleable, loopable - this stuff is able. And right in line w/ everyone else's comments about this song bringing you through the tough times - gotta keep keepin' on.
I rank this song right up there with Visual's "Somehow, Someway"....another House cut that came out around the same time. These tunes got me past many a hard time...Keep keepin' on...yeah...
what's up[ with the draggin beat??...D-train productions always was poppin...big difference from the original tracks...damn digital synths take away from the funk...beat is DEFINITELY not sounded like the original D-train tracks with Hubert Eves. listen to it for yourself. but it's good to see James Dtrain Williams "keepin on' though.
This right here is a good example that D TRAIN shouldve crossed over BIG. When you hear his music, it just takes you back to a happy period in the music industry but he still sounds & looks good to this day.
When I started collecting records back i 84, this tune was one of the hardest to get..I believe Jame sTaylor is one of the greatest voices in funky Disco music. Really admire him and his work. Endless.
outstanding performance by James Williams! he got swallowed up by the disco thing and got pigeonholed there....what a shame! such talent!!!!! and such a positive message too
I grew up in Harlem, and it was no thing for me to take the D Train straight to 125th.. and Hop back on the D train to see all my "Hoodrat" crazy ass cousins and aunts right on 170th St Grand Concourse.. Missin New York all the time!!
He sounds so much like the lead on a group called Visual, who made a monster hit "the music's got me"the hook goes..move move free your body.repx3. Of course I cant find that song on cd or video..any body out there know more on Visual?
OMG! I was thinking the same thing! Thanks for the artist cos I never knew who they were! I can't find that song either! I'll try to get as much info as I can & keep you posted
the way he pulls the devil horns sign towards the audience looks kinda spooky to be honest...
