I may be a bit sensitive since I think it's a heinous thing to call a person, but its a rash generalization to say that *all* bands do it - that's definitely not true.

I get that it's part of the atmosphere, I'm just saying, it makes me much less inclined to buy a band's merch after the show - though that's more for smaller bands I hear at small venues than popular groups like 30 Sec. to Mars. Jared Leto can call me whatever he likes and I'll still love him passionately.
